Here's my thoughts on smurfing after losing 5 games in a row to badge/silver duo queues and badges smurfing.
1) It kills the community. It makes low ranked players (nova and below) hate to play the game or make smurf accounts of their own to mess with the silvers.
2) It results in thousands of "hacker" reports that someone ends up having to look at.
3) It ruins games and the rank system. It's stupid to reward players that have <10 kills just because they got carried by a player who got 40. Those people that win because a smurf is on their team and rank up will then later ruin other games when they get completely out classed by higher rank players they're paired with.
4) Smurfs don't like to be high rank, so they purposely throw or afk with a macro to de-rank their accounts. This is griefing and ruins the game experience for others.
