I finally got around to trying out the private server for Marvel Heroes and I didn't realize how excited I would be to play this game again. It's freakin awesome. I'm so glad people were able to make it happen. I dunno how often I'll actually play but I'm very happy it's possible at all.

I've currently only tried with "stable build" and I haven't had to use "nightly" yet and I'm not exactly sure what's different between them.

I currently am checking out the Tahiti server because I liked the game how it was and don't need anything to be sped up like the council of ancients does.

I did NOT do the Manual Setup. I followed the instructions on the page I linked AFTER the game is installed.

Steam has updated the community Award system so that it no longer gives users Steam Points. I think it's a deeply stupid update and end up talking a little on "toxic positivity" and censorship as well.
