The best way to play these games; the quality of life improvements here are outstanding, and the extra content (such as an entirely rearranged soundtrack for modern systems) takes it the extra mile.

There's a few things you could nitpick, like how you can accidentally teleport trying to interact with objects with the removal of the touchscreen, but even that isn't enough to drag it down.

Definitely pick this one up if it interests you!

4 is repetitive
5 is frustrating
6 is a solid game all around

The ports work well enough, but not fixing translation issues is rather lazy. Worth it for nostalgia, but not something I think I can recommend in good faith to most people nowadays.

Plants vs Zombies remixed. Very fun, even if you don't care about Hololive. There's a lot of humor you'll miss without the context though. The core game takes about 4-5 hours. A fair amount to grind and do afterwards if you desire.

A good game, but not a great game. I think it's easy for me to say that I've enjoyed other Battlefields more. However, this one isn't a disaster of a launch and people are craving their fix for the franchise, as the sales seem to back this claim up.

I don't like the UI for menus, I think it's clunky and even a little confusing.
I don't like the class challenges, they require some very anal tasks to unlock useful gadgets. I don't play Recon to snipe, so why ask me to make *50* 150+ meter headshot kills?
I don't like the maps, most feel very generic and have confusing layouts for the vertical spaces.
I don't like the destruction, it doesn't feel impactful or overly useful.
I don't like the progression, XP boosts on IRL timers and for better or worse, lack of meaningful unlocks.
I don't like the customization, literally all of it feels pointless. On the plus, it should make it easy to avoid spending more money on this game.
I don't like the implementation of parties, why is a game about massive numbers of people not allowed to have some sort of quick match queue for people that want to form parties bigger than 4? One of the biggest arguments against SBMM.

A $70 game, this is not. We've seen enough trash that the bar is lowered and this being *fine* is considered good enough. Not the best Battlefield.

Really fun kart racer with awesome crossplay capabilities. Just hoping the DLC doesn't splinter the player base with the extra courses online.

Also, Hatsune Miku.

An Idle idol game. While cute, it wears out the microscopic gameplay loop in a zip.

The main gimmick that sets this game apart from other idle games, outside of the obvious IP licensed, is the chibi tomodachi aspect and some card building.

The tomodachi element is honestly just another tiresome task thrown at you to keep you engaged while you wait for time to pass. The only affect it has is upon the timer for your next card drop. It's also easy to cheese and ignore. I guess that's good???

The card building is where the fun is at, except the optimal formula isn't too hard to solve. Find the most suitable "building" multiplier and have your cards setup to roll all the bonuses into that one spot on the grid. The depth is determined on what cards you've rolled in the gacha and your current progress level. Once you unlock more and progress farther, it means less and less. At times I wish I could save setups so I could rotate through them as I gained more currency and did it all over again.

These games live and breathe based off the progression curve, and ultimately the point at which the player has time to think about what exactly one is doing with their time. I think this one crashes out far too early and is really only suitable for those looking for a collectathon achieved by time sunk.

If you like Hololive or desire a clicker game with minimal clicking, this works. I just don't recommend it.

A well made game, but not a good "game".

I don't think the game has enough variety with the items in its current state. I like the concept behind the game however.

Performance isn't great, with plenty of visual bugs, story elements are just a slog and annoying, and default options are bizarrely bad. Not to mention the party system is also confusing to get going at first.

Still, Monster Hunter with Crossplay is nice. Not worth full price IMO and performance needs to be fixed before I could really recommend.

Early Access Review
While not super original, featuring trading cards give this game a fresh enough spin that'll help even the most mundane retail workers with managing to find some enjoyment in it.

There's plenty of ways to play, from focusing on collecting cards, to mix-maxing money, or doing your best in making a genuine 1:1 card shop.

Just remember, no one can do the job faster than yourself.

IF YOU HAVE A FEAR OF BUGS - STAY AWAY, otherwise this works great as an exposure tool.

I recommend EDF 5, not 6. Not only does this game re-use assets from previous games (which has been seen as acceptable for a more 'budget-like' series) but now it also re-uses missions from previous games AND ITSELF - some of which are painstakingly bad to sit through as they focus too much on story.

Premise is hordes of bugs, simplistic gameplay, clunky controls, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ voice acting, and collecting item boxes.

Not a game I recommend for solo play, you will want some friends to run through this with.

Co-op still has previous games' desync issues with players locations being half way across the map at times. (Has no bearing on gameplay, more so a visual glitch.)

For veteran players? It's more of the EDF you know and love, for better or worse. Not one deserving of a full price purchase however.
