If you're buying this game, chances are it has more to do with being a fan of GMTK than for the game itself. The game is well polished, but it feels kind of empty. You can breeze through the puzzles pretty quick, which are pretty uneven in application, and then there's nothing left. No secrets, no extras, nothing. A bit disappointing really

Funny little word game - while this game is similar to Balatro in concept, it's not nearly as addicting due to the lower ceiling on how complex your perk combinations can be. Still, I find myself coming back to play for a bit to test my word knowledge

Blue Prince is a fun but fundamentally flawed game, where both the fun and the flaws come from the same source. The combination of the deck builder and puzzle genres is a wholly unique take that creates a lot of fun moments. However, the RNG frequently gets in the way of your ability to solve puzzles. There's a few in particular that require certain room adjacency combinations that I've known about for 20+ hours and I have yet to draft that combination. There are ways to manipulate the RNG, but they are fed to you too slow to be in time for puzzle solving to feel satisfying.

Blue Prince is worth playing if the premise sounds intriguing, but don't be surprised if you decide to quit before solving all of the games secrets.

A deckbuilder that gets very surreal in unexpected ways.

Celeste is one of the most challenging and rewarding platformer experiences that you can experience right now. On top of that, it has a great story about overcoming your own self doubts and insecurities? It's definitely a new favorite of mine now!

This was a sweet game. I found a lot of the characters to be very enjoyable; the different datable dads hit a variety of different character archetypes. However, the highlight for me character wise was the main character's daughter; I thought the writing did a really good job showcasing a father/daughter relationship.

In terms of story, this was definitely on the short side. After a long intro, you get to a point where you just select a Dad to go on a date with. Each Dad has 3 dates, so you can blow through the main part of the game pretty fast. There are a couple mini games related to dates, but I believe there's only 1 per dad. So there's no epic character arc or anything like that.

It's a fun, if short experience.

My first impression of this game, was that it was hella overrated. But, I've come around (mostly, more on that later), and this game is pretty magical.

The story is what makes this game great. The characters are pretty much all likable in their own way. The story makes them all seem lovable in their own little ways. To explain why would involve a lot of spoilers, but suffice to say, the game has a lot of style, which makes it very interesting.

Gameplay wise, there are 2 basic approaches to the game: fighting, and sparing. Both lead to different dialogue options, and endings. I did the pacifist ending, but I've seen genocide gameplay.

There are a lot of puzzles and such to solve throughout, either from figuring out how to 'defeat' certain enemies nonviolently, or overworld puzzles. Plus, tons of hidden easter eggs and secrets!

I won't spoil much here, but if you like story driven RPGs, don't pass this one by.

This game is awesome!

If you liked the original BoI, go ahead and purchase this version. The engine runs a lot more smoothly when it's not based in flash. Plus there is a lot more content! Rebirth features a lot more room variety (Including Massive rooms!), more bosses, more items, more characters, more EVERYTHING! It adds a lot more content on a better engine, what more could you want?

If you haven't played the original, BoI is a roguelike with emphasis on experimentation (Different items, upgrades, trinkets, etc), exploration (Hidden rooms), and tight combat! With the many combinations of items and upgrades, each run plays differently, and there are many strategies to beat the game. There's a lot of content, which you further unlock by repeatedly beating the game, which will unlock new areas! (Seoul, The Cathedral). Also, unlockable characters, a new Boss Rush Room, and my oh my! Binding of Isaac also takes some inspiration from bullet hells, so expet a lot of projectiles on the screen sometimes!

With religious imagery, a tough roguelike, and an awesome soundtrack, there's a lot to love!

If I had to describe this game in 1 word, it would be mediocre. It controls wells, and has some interesting concepts, but it fails to be phenomenal.

Rocketbirds is a 2D platform shooter, with some other elements mixed in. The main combat of the game is not very satisfying, as the most difficult encounters just generally devolve into you quickly altnerating between shooting behind and ahead of you. The different guns really aren't all that interesting either. They just do more damage at the cost of more ammo, which is so plentiful that it's hardly a concern.

The most redeeming quality of this game is the mind control bugs, which allow you to control the actions of guards. This makes for some interesting puzzles, but they're ultimately pretty shallow. There are other segments as well, like flying, but ultimately, it doesn't do it as well as other games.

The story is passable, but nothing super interesting. Music is nice, but nothing Jaw dropping. This game just completely fails to excite. There are better games for $10.

You control this game via voice controls, which is super cool. Story isn't too long, but it's good while it lasts. Wish there was a better challenge mode or something
