Short and sweet, perfect simple game for a simple afternoon.

The soundtrack by coda is nice too.

Worthy of its small price.

For a game that released on April 1st it's far from a joke of a game! Great visuals, fantastic soundtrack, and a surprisingly fresh take on what borders towards auto-runner (minus the auto). The multiplayer implemented later on also works amazingly well when in theory it shouldn't!

Best 8/10 game from 2025!

In my heart of hearts I won't ever say this game is perfect, but as sure as God's got sandals this game beats fightin' dudes with treasure trails.

Ten years in early access and still not a single sign of online multiplayer. This was a kickstarter project, by the way.

At the time of this writing I've 100% completed Fallen Leaf. If you need a classic style MegaMan fix I implore you to check out Fallen Leaf. The game is surprisingly packed and will take you longer than you think to get through the main story alone, the characters are incredibly charming, each level is carefully crafted, and the cherry on top being how the developers want you to play each level how YOU want! The more playable characters you discover and unlock, the more every level opens up as a way for you to play however you want! Go check out Fallen Leaf, what a lovely experience!

To anyone who doesn't enjoy Fallen Leaf and SOMEHOW found it too hard? Congratulations, you just learned this game is not for game journalists 😁

I only played this game cause an ex friend wanted me to play with them on their stream

and I high-key hated every minute of it and dreaded every time I was asked to play it again

At least the faces were funny but God what a horrendously boring experience

I'm not gonna sugarcoat it, while Balatro may be receiving a nomination for best game of the year from the VGA's, Crow Country is my personal game of 2024. Crow Country is a love letter to old style horror classics like Resident Evil and Silent Hill while adding its own modern sensibilities through its controls. The atmosphere for Crow Country is absolutely on point and manages to be just eerie enough to make you as a player feel on edge.

I feel like Crow Country will reach a solid cult classic status within a few years, if that's the case it's justly deserved.

Please play Crow Country, what a fantastic experience 💙

Edit: Many of the issues have been addressed with much more improvements to come, Atlyss is now an easy recommendation!

O̲r̲i̲g̲i̲n̲a̲l̲ ̲n̲e̲g̲a̲t̲i̲v̲e̲ ̲r̲e̲v̲i̲e̲w̲ ̲f̲o̲r̲ ̲b̲r̲e̲v̲i̲t̲y̲'̲s̲ ̲s̲a̲k̲e̲:

Now allow me to start by saying, I actually really like the foundation of what's here. However there are certain issues that really need to be taken into account before all the positive reviews misguide everyone with the experience.

I love the aesthetic, I like how the game feels. Yes the coomer reviewers will keep saying it's great for the cute character designs but there's a few big issues that have been souring the experience:

Mystic is a HORRIBLE class. The Mystic class so far has only been taken into account for balancing for their END GAME builds because everything leading up to that is a worse grind than old-school Warframe with how woefully underpowered the class is. Even when using the strongest weapon for the class it pales in comparison to the other weapons for bandit and fighter.

Bandit and fighter is TOO overpowered, at the time of this review I'm using a bandit imp with fighter as a secondary and frankly the whole kit is like "why bother even having supports?"

There are too many enemies and they are TOO aggressive. There's a blocking and parry mechanic that does work UNLESS you are suddenly being ganged up on and immediately surrounded by 5 or or 6 or 7 enemies all at once with three different types so good luck trying to time every single one and not get hit.

I must stress again, Atlyss has a genuinely solid foundation for a great game that hearkens back to a Dreamcast feeling like Phantasy Star Online, yes the game is in early access but according to friends who played the game in alpha and beta some of these issues weren't even that so I have to wonder why certain changes were made like weakening the mystic and why so many aggressive enemies. A huge immediate plus would be some kind of warning for enemies that are off-screen attacking you at a range that you will have no time to react to without knowing if they're even attacking.

My hope is that all the gooner reviews will not make Kiseff think there's nothing wrong with the game and that these issues are genuinely taken into account.

I can't stress enough, there's an enjoyable experience here but this needs a lot of refining before I can fully recommend it. I'll still keep my eye on Atlyss for the aesthetic alone and I hope future updates will help in changing my review.

Do NOT make the game harder for future updates, focus on enemy spawn rate and frequency of attacks, having a way to see off-screen attacks, and give the mystic class practically an overhaul so that they can actually be useful in a party.

This game is a steal for $6 USD, a couple small moments of confusion for people like me who get lost easily but once you're used to the layout of the map it's all easy to navigate. Short and great experience for those looking for a spooky treat!

So far what's here is a very solid start and I'm hopeful the developers continue to improve on the absolute fluidity of the mechanics. Arcus Chroma so far seems to follow the idea of easy to learn but with a potentially high skill ceiling. My biggest hope is for a stable online mode to be implemented, my husband doesn't play fighting games and I can only fight against the CPU for so long before getting bored. Soundtrack is great by the way!

Rental manages to be both a surprisingly charming yet spooky experience that will take you at most 20 minutes. Highly worth your time to give it a shot if you enjoy the idea of cutesy atmospheric horror quickie.

Share it with your friends! Hoping to see more from Lonely House
