Quite a rough start upon this game's initial stage with public release. Game looked and felt weird to play. Then after SMITE's most successful event in history, they fire half of their team and say they want to refocus their efforts all toward SMITE 2. I ignored this game for a GOOD WHILE after it came out to the public.

Thankfully, after a GOOD amount of time, I can confidently say that SMITE 2 feels like, plays like, and all around, IS a better game than SMITE 1. Every patch and especially with every addition of new or returning gods, the game just gets better and feels more and more like SMITE again. I honestly think it's more fun than it has ever been. Plus now we have a website (smite source) where any builds, god info, player info, etc. is all in one place. The game is no longer made of this horrible spaghetti code where one insignificant change now makes Cthulu turn invisible the whole game. The future is bright. I have hope. SMITE was the first MOBA to actually do it for me and i love it dearly.

they need to lock in a little bit to make this feel like a cohesive experience. the consistent addition of annoying or actually game breaking bugs, and the lack of progress on fixing them, is insane. The battle-passes are also kind of lackluster, with their contents not being enough to incentivize me to buy or play, to make my way through. Progression is also kind of non-existent. Fix the darn game, add more soul and ACTUAL skate energy with dialogue featuring pro-skaters. gameplay is fine without the bugs. atm cannot recommend.

I have no idea what they did to this game with recent updates but it has completely broken the game. The configuration screen does not work at all. Everything is constantly left as undefined and now I can no longer use my playstation controllers. I plug in my xbox one controller and it works fine until I either beat a level or tab out of the game, where I will then get an extremely disfigured control scheme (L3 becomes pause) or my controller stops working altogether. The game also decides to turn off my night light mode on my windows pc which filters out the blue light, therefore invading my corneas and giving me a headache almost instantly. I used to play this game a lot with no issue whatsoever and now it's unplayable. I hope they fix this cuz if not? Then it was fun going fast while it lasted. :(

Ready or Not? Definitely NOT. Not Worth $40 FOR SURE. This game is easily worth $25 max. Once you've played a few missions, that's it. Most replayability is non-existent and the game is NO WHERE NEAR being done. The worst part is that it won't go on sale since it's early access. I would either wait for the game to lower in price or add a lot more content to make it worth it. I've played six hours and I've seen all there is to see. That was WITH FRIENDS as well. There's no sprint, jumping is pointless, there's no vaulting, and there is no point to earning points or getting a good grade as it all goes away when you start a new lobby. Fun overall and I hope the game improves but in the current moment in time, it's NOT worth it.

This game does not work. Tried everything to get my controller to work and it would not. I figured I could maybe still play it with mouse and keyboard, however when I got the first sign post, It gave me a tutorial on how to perform an action WITH THE CONTROLLER. ONE OF WHICH I DIDN'T HAVE PLUGGED IN. I could not, for the life of me, figure out how to get away from the sign. I couldn't even pause the game to quit. Alt+F4. I've never had a game frustrate me so fast. I'm not touching this non-functioning trash pile ever again. Lick my nads.

This game is about as brutal as it gets. Making bases, fighting, looting, raiding... it's so much fun! No other game really captures how this game makes me feel. My most played game on steam and I wouldn't rather have any other game to be my no life simulator.

A MOBA that finally did it for me. It feels a lot more engaging than other titles. After playing a lot of this game, I would say that it saved MOBAs for me and I would now be able to enjoy any of them. Would definitely recommend if you need help getting into MOBAs.
