What to say ? 10/10 experience.

Relaxing yet exhilerating.

Gunplay feels sharp and is driven by incredibly smooth and free 3D movement.

The collection of upgrades and items is great, never being a pain.

If you can push the graphics to max, looks clean as hell, "simple" but effective Art Direction.

Indie GOTY for me.

Pure gem of a shooter, weapons have a really good feeling, artsyle feels fresh and doesn't hinder your concentration on shooting the baddies, upgrades are tons on fun, and it's cheap as hell compared to the myriad of content it offers.

The sheer pleasure of watching your dmg numbers go up as you collect upgrades is worth it.
An Elite ennemy appears, and a single shot later it's dead because you had a good combination and you dealt 397K worth of damage to him with a sniper that has a base dmg stat of 400.
The more you play, the more you wanna play, just to see how stupidly broken your next run is gonna be.

This is what I love about this game. It wants you to break it, but however broken your stuff is, you're still on the brink of death if you don't pay attention.


TL;DR : Get. This. Game.

Edit : After 250h, and pretty much everything done in the game ? I still enjoy playing it. Every run feels fresh, playing with friends is a really fun experience. Plus, the devs keep on adding new content throughout the years, adding more and more madness to the mix. I still 100% recommend this absolute gem.

Visuals are absolute top-notch, this game really offers gorgeous sights, and models in themselves are eye candies.
Gameplay-wise, real good stuff. If you like space games but are afraid of some in the likes of Star Citizen or Eve Online, Eversapce is the way to go. Real arcady, makes for good fun.
Story-wise, still in early access at time of review so I won't tell.
Can't wait for the whole game to be published !

I'm getting strong DOOM vibes with a mixture of Shadow Warrior from this game.

The gameplay ( /gunplay) feels really snappy, so smooth and responsive. Graphics-wise, it's looking good, but nothing to be amazed at though. It looks good, and that's all we want. This game is not about graphics. One con I'd say for the textures is they are almost too sharp, actually had to disable chromatic aberration because it just felt too much in combination. Smoother textures would do the game much service.

One tiny aspect of the gunplay I struggled with, is the lack of reload animations cancel. I expected it, as the game is really keeping you on your toes, but the fact that it wasn't there and that reloads are cancelled by every action ( except for moving and running, which is great), which led me to reload the same gun 2 to 3 times in a row at times. Pls add animation cancel ? Would feel much more smooth I think.

All in all, a very good experience, can't wait to see more of this.
Definitely recommended if you're into fast-paced action shooter.

This game. Damn. It's sooo good. If you like kicking demons' butts with total brutality and perfect musics, this game is for you.
Don't expect much of the multiplayer though. Well, don't expect a single thing from the multiplayer.
But this game is really worth your time.
