A short and sweet NieR-like slasher with flashy action and a surprisingly good plot. While the mid-to-late-game difficulty feels a bit lacking, some adjustments to the parry system and a harder difficulty mode would be great additions.

I played the demo for 100+ hours througout last year, it was a nearly perfect experience.
Full release added more weapons, armor, environment and scenario variety, at the cost of perfomance which is expected, given lt's a UE5 engine game. But the physics and balance revisions missed the mark catastrophically. Enemies now fearless and far more durable, most weapons lost all impact and feel clanky, your Willie now falls down and cries after the slightests bump.
I am dissapointed.

EDIT: Did another try after the optimization update. There's still fun to be had, but overall the expirience is rough. It is hard to recommend this in its current state, but I belive thing will get bettar after a couple more updates.

Good potential wasted by mediocre execution and questionable decisions
It was fun to learn the game and take on a challenge for the first 5-10 hours, ngl. But then you start to notice that all of it just boils down to wrestling NPCs with a very dubious behaviour patterns and pixelhunting all the leftover evidence. Getting good ranks is just a chore to do along main objective and the whole experience of getting S score is plain unsatisfying.

Nevertheless, strong recommend.

You could beat this game in 2-3 hours, but you wouldn't be able to resist spending double the time on all the little things to find and fiddle with.
Aside from that, it's a tight and satisfying boomer shooter with a curious slav aesthetic and a slick sense of humor.

Baby's first visual novel, in a good sense.
Enjoyed my time tho, would recommend.

A timeless masterpiece.
The only thing I find a bit frustrating is the lack of full keyboard support. Sure, the new mouse input is great, but after 10 years of playing the classic version, I miss being able to do things swiftly with a chain of hotkey presses.

This game manages to be both unforgivingly comfy and soothingly brutal at the same time, I like it a lot (⁠ ⁠ꈍ⁠ᴗ⁠ꈍ⁠)
