What had the potential to be a great walking-sim game ultimately turned out really disappointing.

First, performance is rough. This was listed as Steam Deck verified, but you were choosing between heavy upscaling which made all text unreadable, or a sub-10 fps experience. Even once switching to the desktop (i7-8700k and a 3080), the game clearly had several unoptimized sections.

The overarching story is great. The lore laid out within the game is incredible. However, there's several parts that do a poor job of linking relevant information together.

As a champion of the "make shorter games", I'm fine with a 3 hour experience for $25. But I'll acknowledge that is a big turn-off for most.

One of those games where I am so glad I got to experience it without any knowledge beforehand or guides. Wish I could wipe my memory and do it all again. Did you like Outer Wilds but found controlling the ship annoying? This is the perfect game for you.

Experienced the main ending and 2 of the 3 optional endings in about 5 hours. Other than one annoying side quest (no spoilers: getting the flower), it was jaw dropping the entire time. Exactly what a short adventure game should strive to be.

I love shorter games like this, and appreciate that the story wasn't stretched out. Ended up nearly 100%'ing the game in 3-hours, with the exception of finding a collectible too late in-game that I will have to go back for in the free roam mode.

Wished we could have had more game play, but I will certainly take what we got! Not worth the $20 price tag, but with it being on sale relatively frequently, it's a great pickup for a short game.

It's a very very short game for a $60 sticker price, although sites like Humble Bundle often offer it in bundles for much less. The humor is quirky, and what you would expect given the studio and creators behind it. Gameplay is very smooth, outside of some poor level design and occasional bugged animations. If it's a game you think you will like, you've probably already bought and played it. If you have no idea what you are looking for, there is a lot better games in the genre.

This is an incredible experience that left me and my fiance in tears. Had I had a chance to play it for the first time again, I would have played it without eye tracking as there were several times we skipped a scene because the one on the webcam blinked the moment the metronome popped up. Absolutely worth the $4 it was on sale at, and I would have easily paid full price for the experience. A short game absolutely worth your time....and your money.

Punch Club provided an engaging game to play on the go. While there were small periods of grinding, they rarely last long and can be completely avoided by playing on the easiest game mode. You constantly find yourself planning ahead and trying to balance aspects of your career. Overall, a great game, even if the story is a bit cheesy.

I am playing on a PC slightly above the "Recommended Specifications" and it gives an average FPS under 30 when nothing is going on, and under 20 when in busy areas, on the Day 1 patch, with updated drivers. This is also on the lowest graphics settings possible. I also dealt with two crashes and a game-breaking bug that forced a rest as progressing was impossible. All of this in under an hour.

I had very high hopes for this game, but unfortunately I am forced to attempt to refund it. Hopefully this game with have significant improvements after launch similar to The Witcher 3, but until than, it is largely unplayable.

Full disclosure, I HATE puzzle games. I always have and up until playing this game I though I always would. It came with a Humble Bundle to support COVID-19 relief efforts (so shoutout to the developers for that) and I thought it was worth trying out when I saw it had a short time to beat. I just finished the main story and wow, this was incredible. The game is charming and while not extremely difficult, stumped me several times.

The post-game content, which I will not spoil, is extremely interesting. While the first "puzzle" was pretty simple when compared to the last puzzles of the main story, I am sure future puzzles will be more difficult. I will likely pick up the game again in a few days to give it a shot.

My only complaint was there was occassionally an extremely small amount of input lag, but with an undo button ("Z" if you decide to pick up this game and were wondering) that prevents having to reset because of it.

I have enjoyed this game a lot, however, the controls are often clunky and hard to use and there is no cloud-save support which was a bummer to find out when attempting to switch from playing on my laptop (which often struggled to run the game on minimum settings) to my desktop.

Early Access Review
Got this for my first HumbleBundle purchase, this game is incredible. I HATE Rouge-likes but have loved the limited time I have put into the game. I could easily see this as a game you put 50+ hours into without feeling a bit of burnout. This would be a cool game to stream and play with friends, it really offers itself to a shared experience. Game also seems to be consistently improved, and the developer is extremely receptive to community feedback judging by the steam fourms.
