ORIGINAL REVIEW:
Sony has reversed it's stance on the PSN requirement but has yet to reverse the region restrictions that were put in place. This review will remain negative until those restrictions are changed and the "Requires 3rd-Party Account: PlayStation Network (Supports Linking to Steam Account)" is removed from the store page.

***I will change this review if the situation changes as I have enjoyed my time with the game up until now (100+ hrs), but under the circumstances, I can't continue to support this game.***
