I went into this game with the lowest of expectations and came out surprisingly content with a game that I actually enjoyed. While the gameplay is much like Kingdoms of Amalur and Dragon Age, it offers nothing new beyond what those two had to offer. If you enjoy that style of combat, then there's definitely more of it here!
The story is.. not terrible but it's not great either. It's a mediocre story whereas a "Fire Demon" inhabits the main character. Depending on choices that you make, the more it takes over. There are multiple endings, including a True Ending for not going the fire route at all.

I'd give it a 7/10

P.S. For the sale price during the steam summer sale (of 2020) at 2$, the game is a steal.

During my journey across the sand, taking only about 40-50 minutes of my time, I realized something quite simple. This was it. This is the game. I can walk, I could run, I could go 50 miles an hour fueled by pure adrenaline, and monster energy drinks. This was it, this was the path of my carrier career.

I had stumbled upon over a hundred cases on the ground and picked them up, avoiding the AI that would spot me like a sniper on crack if they were facing me from a hundred miles away. They moved slowly though, or maybe it was just the energy drinks making me believe that they were, and I managed to make it to the next destination.

Here I had to get the jet pack, this was fine, the populace liked me enough. I figured dispensing my tokens of admiration for the jet pack would be well worth the value of flight. I was no longer speed while climbing the mountain, but I knew that every time I fell, my jet pack would catch me along the way and send me careening further into the sky's abyss, before catching myself on the pole and completing my mission.

The text urged me, to stop my mission here. I refused, there was more to be done. My next task was to find the truck. Using the power of the monster energy drinks, I flung myself off of the mountain. My body whipping through the air before crashing hard into the snowy grounds below, tumbling further towards my destination. It was working, but I wasn't able to use this idea again, as the rest of the trip was climbing yet another mountain. Before I knew it, I was airborne once more, flying past where I needed to go and slamming into the mountain wall on the other side.

After collectively picking myself up, I turned to the rest of the packages I had grabbed along the way, hundreds of them scattered across the floor. I had to hurry, the slow-moving spearmen were going to show up any time soon, and I had a truck to catch. Thankfully, I had a plan. After gathering the goods from inside the truck's cargo bed, I climbed into the truck itself and set the vehicle to throttle. I was then sent careening through the air shortly before crashing on the truck's side, where the driver's door was. Unfortunately, the truck did not have a mechanism to flip itself back onto the wheels, like most modern trucks these days, and I had to climb out of the driver's seat to see if I could do something about it.

A terrible idea. The world rose above me, I fell through it, and above me. . . I could see that the truck had gotten back onto its wheels. I desperately activated my jetpack, but... I was too late. I began to fall. I closed my eyes, and smiled. I had gotten out of the truck and managed to fix the problem. I had done the one thing the game had warned me not to do the entire time, which was to do anything but walk. I tempted fate, and it brought me to the end.

I fell for five minutes, I began to wonder if the world above would disappear. As I wondered, my feet caught something below. Excited, I looked around to see if the landscape had reappeared beneath me, however... It did not. In fact, I seemed to have found myself in an endless abyss of nothing but the sun and the world as I knew it above me. I ran frantically to the next mission, 3,000 meters away. My cargo had been successfully deposited into, something. I do not know what, but the likes came in and I felt fulfilled.

TL;DR 7/10 walking Sim would recommend only using monster drinks, don't trust the vehicles.

TSIOQUE is a point and click adventure game that does a lot of things right.
PROS
+ Time limited scenes
+ You get to play OSU to escape death
+ Hand drawn animations
+ A story that's actually quite cohesive
+ The power of Imagination
CONS
- A bit short.
- I didn't pay for it so I feel bad

I had no qualms with this game. The end reveal on what's happening was a huge surprise when things start getting split apart. Honestly, a good use of time and would be well worth it if I had put money into it.

It's been a while since I've felt like I should write a review, and I feel like this game has already justly deserved an upvote.

This game is simplistic, with a simplistic goal. While I have not completed the game, nor does it run perfect frames all the time, it's easy, and despite it's lack of in-depth gameplay.. It's actually quite fun.

The idea of the game is that you are a space-port janitor-bot. As stated on the tin, and your goal is to get off the cruddy world that you live on in order to live a better life. Often times you'll come across items that you may think have no value and incinerate, as part of your job. Others you'll try to use in order increase your "luck" so that you might find better trash on the ground, which could range from absolute garbage, to items that you could trade for municipial credits.

Every day you'll need to eat in order to stay alive, and sleep so that you can recharge your incinerator. Each day has their own events, and often times you might find yourself with a lack of trash to find, and others you'll find such an abundance that you can't even carry it all, nor incinerate all of it. At the end of the day, when your character wants rest, you go back to your little apartment, write in your diary, and sleep.

What I found interesting is that there was always something to write about what happened each day. One day I'd be rich, and the next I would've spent it all on a porn mag in order to get a tablet piece so that I could get rid of the annoying barking skull that lingers around me every day. Another day I'd be well within my budget for food, before one of the security bots would hassle me and eat half of my municipial credits, keeping me on guard and low on funds.

TLDR;;; - In short, at 8$ I've had fun with the game in the current 1.5 hours that I've played. Would I pay that much normally? No probably not, but it surprised me how simplistically fun it was, so I recommend it to others.

(Don't let the Steam playtime fool you)

What's there to say about Mabinogi...
Well, to be honest, there's a lot to say about it. I first started playing Mabinogi around it's beta and continued to play it until G18-G19. Off and on. The game's story is split into mainstream questlines called Generations. Currently the game is still in G19. These Generation quests can take quite some time to complete, especially if you're new to the game so it would be best to either find some friends to play the game with, or make some friends in the game to play it with you.

Most of these story/generation quests are actually based off of mythological lore from around the world, especially as of late. I won't go into detail about the story because I'm not one for spoilers, but I would recommend giving the game a try and run through a few to get the idea of it. Or just watch some videos/read the wiki.

Skills:
The skills in Mabinogi are pretty expansive, if not repetitive. In order to rank up your skills you have to continuously use them. Which isn't to say that's a bad thing. The one problem with it is that it's essentially playing a large and expanded version of Rock Paper Scissors with your enemies, especially in PVP. If you like Rock Paper Scissors, then this will be the combat system you've always been waiting for.

The best way to explain the skills in terms of how they rank up is that you start out with Novice Level and when you upgrade it, it goes to F rank. From F you can go all the way up to A. Then from there, you go to rank 9 then down to rank 1. Rank 1 being the highest and max rank that you can achieve for that skill. This can take a very long time for certain skills and most of the time you'll find yourself AFK'ing or sleeping while doing the ones that can be set to auto-use. In order to rank these skills up however, you'll need AP, which there are various ways to obtain it, the main way is to level up.

The thing I like the most about the game is that you can mix and match or get all the skills in the game with a single character. Of course, this will absorb a lot of your time in the process, but getting all the skills makes you feel like you've achieved something. Which is true because they're not all easy to get (Mage Spells are a pain, but oh so powerful).

Leveling
If there's one thing that's great about mabinogi, it's that there's no level cap, and with that comes rebirthing. You can spend an eternity trying to get to lvl 200, or you can rebirth every other week once your character reaches the age of 20. (It's best to have your character at age 18 when you rebirth so that you can rebirth sooner without having to pay for a character card, I'll go into detail about that and other cash shop items in a bit) Each time you level, you get a random amount of AP, It's best to use this AP when you can, but be mindful about what you put it into. As certain skills when ranked up, will make it harder for you to gain EXP as you'll have to defeat more powerful monsters in order to get the EXP you're looking for (Looking at you Combat mastery!) If you're looking for a challenge from the game, that would definitely be the way to go.

Cash Shop and Customer Support
Nexon is notorious for it's cash shop in every game that they develop. and their customer support isn't exactly top notch in the game industry. This game is PAY TO WIN as much as I hate to admit it, but it always has been since G2 (You used to have to pay for VIP in order to use the now-free Paladin Transformation skill which is very powerful).

When I say their Cash Shop is pay to win, I mean it in the terms of you can get the most powerful items in the game from the Gacha, and pets are the most powerful companions you can have. Most pets don't do much else other than give you more inventory space, but the rest have powerful AOE skills that can wipe dungeons and bosses in the early to most late game areas, not including end-game or fieldbosses.

In terms of armor and weapons... well let's just say that in-game currency will not do you any favors in attempting to get them off of players, and the best but most efficient way of emptying your wallet is to just go through dozens of gacha boxes in an attempt to (possibly) get what you've been looking for. In the end, your inventory will be filled with either potions, or enchantment scrolls that usually suck ass.

Now that's not to say that all items from the cash shop are pay to win, but more cosmetic. Which people will shove their entire bank account into the cash shop's throat for dyes and clothing for which they want to make their character look infinitely better than they would normally. Unfortunately, I was one of these people who got sucked into what is known as....Fashionogi. Don't do cash shop kids, it will end you.

Another thing you can buy from the Cash Shop are Nao stones, which you can also get daily from their VIP service. Nao stones will be your lord and savior in the middle of a hard dungeon, or after being cheap shotted by a boss. Most players won't be carrying around phoenix feathers, and in the end you'll have to PM your friends for a friendly yet unlikely revival stone that they can only get through Premium, or Gacha boxes.

Now in terms of support....Support isnt Nexon's forte, let's just say. I haven't had many problems with them, but I know plenty of other players who have. Accounts being suspended, characters in their account being banned and unplayable, rendering their character slot useless, and the retrieval of items lost through being hacked is just the tip of it. You won't be getting those items back no matter how hard you beg, so don't try it. Scammers now litter Mabinogi and you have to be on top of your game in order to not lose to them, most of them aren't the best at what they do but just keep in mind, they will try to get that item you just won in Gacha. They'll find a way

Misc
Now a lot of people might try to argue that mabinogi tries to even out its pay to win with free events that go on, which isnt entirely true, nor entirely false. The events are the funnest part about mabinogi aside from its expansive skill list (List, not tree). Or at least, they can be. They're usually the time of which the most players actually get on to mabinogi. However, more and more players are quitting Mabi and the amount of people playing is beginning to decline, with an exceptional few that join every other day because of Mabi now being on steam.

The Verdict
Mabinogi is a fun game, one that I continuously go back to every now and again to play so that I can socialize or get some of the new items to make my character look good or to fiddle around with the combat system as new skills come out. Despite it's pay to win nature, there are other ways to get the items that you want. In game currency and trading (commerce skill is your saint here bring friends) is the best way to get the items that you desire. I would say that it's not worth playing in the long run, but you will make plenty of friends within the game that can last a long time.

Personally, I'd give the game a 8/10.

TL;DR
Mabinogi is good, sometimes piss. NoMaybeRecommendationOption/10

Great story, greater humor, and really tests what to come up with against the situation.

10/10 would recommend buying and play again
