Giving us a half baked feature and saying it will get better is fine for early access.

Later realising it doesn't suit your future plans is already bad, but simply disabling what was already there is straight up diabolical.

Plenty of good things to say about it, but I'll leave that for what it is now.

It is more of the tech demo, but now a slightly better career system. I have to admit I'm using DLSS and frame generation to keep it running, but I wouldn't say it is unplayable.

It is very unique so if the tech demo scratches your itch, this is more of that. Rough around the edges but plenty of fun.

We liked the first one a lot more.

We were already a bit worried that the tutorial was exactly the same as the first edition. Fair enough, dont redo something that isn't broken right. But after that we just weren't having much fun. The ball that had to be moved around was incredibly tedious. The first one had fun tense moments were we could laugh at our own mistakes. Now we felt like the game was just punishing us for gags. We didn't make it far so maybe things get better, but looking back i see more tedious things in the trailer being sold as fun. we refunded it and played a bit more of the first one to get some laughs.

Sometimes more of the same is bad I guess.

Oh and the friend pass didn't work for us. Great.

with 1.0 coming up and not enough time to explore all details in this game/sim I still feel like it is worth a positive review before the full release.

The game guides you in a great way through the procedures and the academy functions helped me through the systems on project mercury and gemini so far. At some point things went so well that I was worried that everything was on rails, but after messing up re entry (yeah great of course it had to be that part) and burning up I'm happy to say you can properly mess up. Small issues and your approach also have their impact. My friendship 7 flight didn't exactly land where it should have, after the ASCS acted up, and I had to fix the gyro's with a very limited understanding of what I was doing.

After Mercury you leave the so far "simplistic" cockpit, and then you end up with a computer, that communicates in numbers only, and a lot more things to press... and mess up obviously.

The historical missions include the recordings of the actual missions, adding a great extra touch.

All in all I believe a sim nerd or space enthousiast would enjoy this game. I can only imagine the apollo missions are even more stunning.

We are getting somewhere. It is scratching the itch I have for stalker and performance is better by now.

I now tend to pick up this game instead of the older ones, even if modded.

That should say enough. Plenty of things are still not great, and stuff like voice acting and the story won't change anyway, but there are enough improvements. I wouldn't get it at full price though.

I love the game, attention to detail, and most importantly the new maps themselves too much to consider a negative review.

Sure there is some funny stuff. The maps can't be played in commander mode. But that mode is kinda awful to begin with, and I can't immagine it wont work in the future. I may also be in a luxurious position. Performance, load times, and crashes are great/missing for me. Important; the video settings reset for me. While in my case that made everything uglier, it may make things run terrible for you.

There is too much passion for an old SWAT 3/4 fan to be salty over 10€, and since people without the DLC can join multiplayer lobby's this deserves the recommendation. I really feel like this is an amazing way to approach the DLC.

I didn't speak up when I saw it happening to others, and now it happened to me.

Just can't play the game. Anything else I play works fine since my PC upgrade, but this game is now unplayable.

It is really good, even the co-op. But further words of praise will only come once I get the game running again.

A stunning game. Even better in co-op with friends. Random people online tend to be great fun too.

It is funny, intense, beautifull. It has it all.

I am extremely against live service and FOMO games, and I am still scared of what the devs will do. But the game is just too much fun to care about all that stuff.

Only weird ass thing is that whenever I play it, it swaps to my cyrillic keyboard and I am forced to voice chat. Which is only better for democracy.

It scratches so many itches I never knew I had. I am so bad at it, and yet I love playing it so much.

I am in love with it, and while I could go into depth the fact that you are here reading reviews means you must have the same itch that I had before buying it.

You can easily test out the gameplay for free in the "story" release.

I only want to add that you can feel the passion in the project and story. And finally I noticed reviews complaining about the new UI, but I think it is great and may even be an improvement (although I didn't play with the old one, but I did see it being used).
