oh ok. have the one you interact with be -1 1 -1 1, and the one that its connected to
be 0 1 0 1.
E will turn on the switch, and Q will set it back to 0.
15 Nov, 2025 @ 11:45am
not return to 0 switch connected to a return 0 switch somewhere else that is interacted with
15 Nov, 2025 @ 11:39am
lol thats alright. So the switch, is it something you interact with directly, or is it connected to something else?
15 Nov, 2025 @ 10:16am
i actually meant to say switch not actuator guh
15 Nov, 2025 @ 10:13am
set the actuator to seeking, and what ever key you clicked like E or Q on the switch, reclick it.
15 Nov, 2025 @ 7:17am
how can one set a -1 1 -1 1 no return to zero actuator back to 0
13 Oct, 2025 @ 5:37pm
This guy is awesome
11 Oct, 2025 @ 6:20am
You can always get lost in the simplest of things still.
I sure do.
11 Oct, 2025 @ 5:21am
spent too long in bed this morning and realised sensors and switches are really simple if you think about it
10 Oct, 2025 @ 3:24pm
And try changing your proxy sensor to:

0
0.20
1
0
10 Oct, 2025 @ 3:17pm
Switches can output still even if the min/max inputs are 0

0
0
-1
1.

But the switch will be powered by default, outputting 1.
10 Oct, 2025 @ 9:54am
im also getting an effect where a normal proxy sensor (0 0.19 1 0) + actuator system sometimes outputs a very very low value (i have 21 of these for a reactor control rod display map, and it seems random if they output this very small value for no reason)
10 Oct, 2025 @ 9:50am
can a switch actually send an output if its min/max input value is 0 connected to a proxy sensor
2 Oct, 2025 @ 11:27pm
alright
2 Oct, 2025 @ 7:39am
damn ok but i forgot what i wanted that for anyway so i wont need it now
1 Oct, 2025 @ 8:52pm
sorry I wasn't able to help you Bob, I went on holidays a month ago and just got back.
29 Aug, 2025 @ 8:43am
i worked out a proxy-actuator method but would still be nice if you helped make one with time sensors
29 Aug, 2025 @ 5:16am
or something like increasing value where one switch activates after the other each time the switch is pressed
29 Aug, 2025 @ 5:16am
hi again for the second time this year do you know how to make actuator move a set distance every time a return to 0 button is pressed
13 Aug, 2025 @ 3:05pm
Makes me wonder what you're cooking up
13 Aug, 2025 @ 7:07am
hold on its fine i found one of your old 2 speed actuators
13 Aug, 2025 @ 7:06am
is a 2 speed actuator possible im sure i remember them existing
23 Apr, 2025 @ 6:07pm
Yea thats gonna be cool
23 Apr, 2025 @ 5:21pm
clock can be used for auto headlights too
23 Apr, 2025 @ 6:11am
The era of clocks has begun.
23 Apr, 2025 @ 4:08am
now that 1.8.1 has time of day sensors you could make a new clock
23 Mar, 2025 @ 6:48am
Sounds awesome. Drop a link down when its done
23 Mar, 2025 @ 5:21am
with the actuator im making a stupidly realistic elevator- so far it can go to 3 floors, cant move if the doors are open, and has a set of doors on both the elevator and the floors, and only the door that the elevator is on can open (floors without elevator are locked)
22 Mar, 2025 @ 10:10pm
Glad you worked it out bob. I also updated the head tracker to track up and down movements
22 Mar, 2025 @ 7:32pm
GGcake stands for Great Good Cake
22 Mar, 2025 @ 2:47pm
its fine, i got a way for it to work (even if its more complicated than it could be)
22 Mar, 2025 @ 1:55pm
(activated by 3 sets of 3 switches also, or 3 sets of pos/neg output switch)
22 Mar, 2025 @ 1:54pm
can you make a 2x20 actuator with 3 positions?
fully extended (forwards)
center position
fully retracted (backwards)

info if needed:
speed -2
accumulated
20 Mar, 2025 @ 6:03am
is an actuator that follows head movement possible
17 Feb, 2025 @ 4:48am
I have to say man, you're profile be looking quite aesthetic. +rep

8 Dec, 2024 @ 3:10am
i used the sensors from the 4th timer and now it works in a loop :D
7 Dec, 2024 @ 5:17pm
They are already continuous, just turn them on and boom. but if you want it to start automatically tho, set the ON/OFF switch to this

-1
0
-1
1

and theyll start working their magic
7 Dec, 2024 @ 12:42pm
can you add a continuous one to it? like the blinker setting for light bricks
7 Dec, 2024 @ 12:38pm
here's a few actuatorless timers

https://v1.steam.hlxgame.cc/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3310483897

you can make them start and stop at different speeds, just change the numbers in the sensors.
7 Dec, 2024 @ 3:11am
(for context im making the city scanner siren from hl2 with modded siren types, but you can just set it to car and ill change it)
7 Dec, 2024 @ 3:10am
can you make an actuatorless timer thing?
i have a 1x1x0.333 actuator on 1.4 speed accumulated with a 1.666x0.666x0.333 brick ontop of it facing outwards
every time the brick passes over the sensor it activates
can you try make this in time sensor?
17 Nov, 2024 @ 3:36am
you
w h a t ?
30 Oct, 2024 @ 1:02pm
still nothing
try re updating it
