Definitely the most definitive way to play Crisis Core. Being able to skip cutscenes, having a dash button, and be able to retry upon being defeated holds a lot of weight for the replay value and the fun experience offered from this game, especially when completing missions. Even though there's a lot that leaves to be desired from the new vocal performances of Zack and Sephiroth, there's still a good performance done from the other actors. Good call on Square's part for taking Crisis Core out of the PSP and putting it on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
