having been in early beta and playing through the transition to WIRED one thing is clear. The company knows the entire game is haphazardly put togheater and with such a small community trying to keep it going the staff have shown they have no hope for the project. rather then make waves they have let the community decay to continue their job descriptions for Wired Productions. This is no longer a project of love. It was a game trying to be Free to play to milk money and now they sold the game at a discount and Wired Productions is trying to squeeze the last few dollars untill the entire community becomes a total ghost town.

I'm lucky to find even one server half full, and rather then having a server that Wired Productions hosting games. all the hosting is now on the players.

after being harrassed by the Devloper I will remove comments from this review. the following are responses to questions about my review and my reasonings for them.

I want no further contact from Chris or his company.
------

1. The game has been "released" with bugs that existed when I started playing in early access.
1a. Cars hold input when resawning so you have to clear the commands by slamming every directional button when you spawn
1b. weapons misfire visually when holding down attack, (shot fire, cooldown, no visuals or sound)
1c. bombs occasionally disappear when dropped by players
1d. the Hit reg fix came after the 'release'

2. The game has been "released" with content that is held back for potentially selling at a later date.
2a. Skins in the game that are programmed and coded but not implemented
2b. quickly after "releasing" the game a "supporters pack" was issued with skins and a price tag.

3. Chris (Developer for Caged Element) has Repeatedly spit half truths at people who have issues with the game dismissing their concerns
3a. when someone had an issue with getting stomped by someone 250 levels higher than them, the response was that "there is proper matchmaking" and then when pressured admitted its not currently functioning due to player size dismissing that players concern
3b. When people have raised concerns about the state of the game Chris leads the excuse of budget as if the players have any say in that. dismissing concerns
3c. In the speed freaks discord voice chat server the comment "ya this game is held together with duct tape and dreams" has happened 4 out of 5 times.
3d. "So next time, maybe look even a little bit into the development of the game before professing false information to people as if it's a solid fact. " he did not point out 'what' information was false about my Opinion. Dismissing concerns.

4a. When responding to 3a. rather then discussing the matchmaking started to argue about team balancing, dismissing concerns
4b. Response to (2) after concerns that items where being held back to sell at a later date He defended buy suggesting that the content will be released in Waaah (Battle pass) paths that I have every assumption that like every other 'battle pass' will have a price attached to it for content. Dismissing my concerns

I do not recommend this game.

this is closer to a Visual novel then a game. pretty much only two actions you can do 'massage her or chat with her'

Pros: backstory of characters and budding love
Cons:
- dull game machanics
- only good ending is if you do a 'perfect' run with little to no mistakes
- outfits are location/position specific. example Cowgirl can only be done with the tennis outfit on the tennis court.
- your character has effectively zero personality

this is a top notch strategy with a very frusterating user interface.

the deckbuilding machanics and strategy of the game is superb, each of the rat powers, decks, units give the game lots of life. each of the heroes have diffrent decks with stratagies in each one makes the game repeatable and rewarding.

as for the down side, how you control units and need to scroll left and right to do things makes the game just having to spam the pause button on each level to micro manage the units that a lot of the time you HAVE to micromanage. in the harder stages of the game it is not uncommon to just lose because you sent the wrong person in a direction and takes too long to turn them around.

that said despide the UI problems the game is WORTH IT. think on that.
