A true homage to the sport. Such a fun game to play in and of itself, but also great to play in the background. Enough content that it really doesn't get boring quickly, even though it's such a simple idea. Controls are simple and really easy to pick up, but there's so much room for perfection if you want the best times. Plenty of variety in cars, inside jokes about drivers and points in history, and beautiful, plentiful maps to drive on. If you love rally, you'll love this game even more.

This one is a banger of a game. While the story runs a bit short and you find yourself running out of things to do, the gameplay loop is nearly unparalleled in its sheer fun. This one is just great.

Just an amazing, balanced, and competitive mechanics based car soccer game. Bugs are practically nonexistent, progression and improvement are addictive, and its one of the best games to enjoy with friends. I love this game.

OK, so, this game looked like a dream come true to me when I saw it in a couple videos detaling the Q3 and Q4 game releases for 2017, but it honestly isnt quite what I'd hoped. While playing, you feel severely underpowered against more than one opponent almost all of the time due to the fact that they will always follow and hit you as soon as your block is down, so you spend a lot of time fighting against the lock-on system trying to get away so they don't chain a combo on you that inhibits your blocks and dodges. I feel like all that I'm able to do is sneak around, trying to alert the fewest number of guys possible, all while somehow triggering three of them to come after me, promptly ending my life without any hope. The leveling system is interesting, but poorly explained and taught; I often found myself paging through menus that were more than a little confusing. I will say that I am not the most familiar with fighting games, but I have played my share of Sleeping Dogs and a variety of Assassin's Creed games, and this is by far the most difficult and complicated. That said, that does provide plenty of content for a game focused solely on hand-to-hand combat. This game is beautiful and everything feels fluid, but you get torn out of that as soon as you get stuck in one of the endless cycles of running around, being beaten to a pulp and respawning to do it again. My final little complaint is that there is no dialogue or story development in this game. I know that it definitely adds to the aesthetic, but I'm never quite sure of what I'm doing or who's significant.
Alright so in conclusion, I struggle to endorse a game that has made me want to punch my monitor in frustration, has a learning curve that at this point feels more like a wall, and has a soulless story. I'm just as sad as you are.
