If you buy this title on sale, you very much get what you pay for - if you buy it for full price, you'd better hope that a nice environment and an intriguing story is enough to motivate you through repeating the same gruelling battles until you work out how to get to the next autosave... The combat system isn't all that enjoyable, there are 3 enemy types and unless you have really good aim and/or a lot of ammo, they tend to have the upper hand even on normal difficulty.

When it comes to the puzzles you'll often find yourself grasping at straws or surveying every inch of wall around you trying to find the secret passage way hidden in the shadows. The best intentions are there, but the executing is incomplete.

SHUT UP AND TAKE MY MONEY...

I loved this game for all 50 minutes of it's exploratory glory holiness (like glorious holy, not glory hole... get your mind out of the gutter). It plays out like a walking simulator with a few interactive features, all of which very well done.

The narrative spoke to me on a very deep level, I feel called out and reassured in equal measure.

Visually it appears simple, but when you get into it and start poking around the attention to detail is remarkable (if you found the nails you know what I'm talking about).

Please sir, can I have some more?
