Checked the game a while ago and put it on my wishlist since it seemed fun.

It has some 'how to survive 2' feel to it (top look mouse pointer shooter with an arsenal of weapons, making your way through a map shooting up stuff)

the mechanics work great, game is a fun shooter, the weapons are fun to use and effective.

However, i had the game totally freeze and crash 3 times after playing the vendors mini game and returning to the main game. Issue seemed to be solved by not playing full screen. Nothing hardware related or even from my side since it doesnt happen anywhere else.

Its cheap (5bucks on sale), its fun.. so as long as it doesnt crash = money well spent

the game looked promising to me, having 2K hours into 7dtd i was looking for a new addiction but sadly this game isnt it for me.

I'm all into crafting, building, exploring survival and so on but this game needs a lot of work in order to be fun to me

The beginning is difficult and the quests are a bit of a mess that need structure (make it logic so you can focus on building a small place to stay and create storage, food & water supplies etc) The quests are there now but idk, it didnt work for me... i died because of food/water issues or because OP aliens (even tho i had decent weapons but 7 aliens + & spitter in a starting area building is a bit too much to make it enjoyable for me)

i think this game has potential and i might look at it again someday..who knows? but for now..not my thing

It might be based on the quake engine, but it feels 100% like doom and thats a good thing! The double barel shotgun.. yes!! a pistol that doesnt suck.. yes! other awesome weapons.. yes!

Along with Dusk and Amid evil, deffo my fav old skool shooters of this year.

my own fault to think this would more be like diablo style.. i created my own expectations which was a bad idea. Too much text to my liking, too slow, boring.. won't play it again for sure

fast paced action game with a sh*tload of cool weapons. You can play melee focussed or ranged focussed or mix them up. This game contains some of the coolest weapons ive seen. I wish this would be way longer.. like WAAAY longer. (completed the campaign in less than 10 hours)

After reading all those reviews.. i was worried my game wouldn't work like it should.. tbh i don't understand all the fuss. Installed the game, launched it, played it & enjoyed it. Not a single issue. Great game, improved graphics over the last one and story is fun to follow. A shooter, as it should be.

After having over a 1000 hours and experiencing many updates, I decided to review the game finally.

From all the survival, crafting & zombies games out there.. 7days is certainly my only game i keep playing. Every update is providing new interesting elements and exciting changes. What I also like is that the devs don't pop an update every month that causes a wipe so you have to start all over again and again.. Ive had maps for over 6 months before they would wipe so you have enough time to get stable and build up something nice.

The game provides both pvp and pve servers as well as standard and modded servers. I mainly play modded servers because they provide that little extra that you might seek after being 'bored' with the standard servers. For me, the mods simply make the game better (better HUD, /home functions /area functions)

The game is easy to get into and the maps are big enough to explore for a very long time.

Building wise, they is simply no other game as divers as this one. The only one that comes close is 'rising world' but it doesn't provide any challenge apart from building (no enemies, nothing to explore, etc)

In the future I hope to see more weapons, more types of ammo per weapon, new POI's.. Either way, every update is always a pleasure so far.

If i have to say something negative about the last update, it would be the sleeper zombies (you walk into a building or area and zombies are sleeping on the floor. When you come close enough, they wake up and start targetting you)

What's also weird is that, when you leave the building and come back, new zombies will spawn again.

I highly reccomend this game for everyone who is seeking a game that has endless building options, a good dose of action and intense exploring options. ++ Looting, leveling up, skillpoints ++

just epic! ninja style melee combined with amazing shooting action & upgradable weapons.
