If you're looking for a more free form way to scratch that Tarkov itch and still pay less money than it would cost to be allowed to even look at a PvE mode. Well, you've found it.

The game itself feels good being a constantly open and free to explore map, allowing you to do gathering, task(missions) at your own pace and also have any number of encounters to make things feel lively.

You still get the same style of weapon customization and access to shops. Your home base serves as a live lobby and shop for your character while you are in between "runs". This allows you to do all your buying, selling, customizing, and even match making to a degree right in one spot. being allowed to manage inventory and talk with other PMCs about progress and little war stories from the field is fun in itself.

VOIP is a great tool and squad talk works nice. Occasional server lag has been the only notable issue thus far and that usually resolves itself fairly quickly.

Sony screwed the pooch like the Automatons they are, and Arrowhead became the Spear head of liberty that we needed to to rally and save the citizens of Super Earth, allowing them to play the game they love. We stand united against all odds. WE are the HELLDIVERS™


Love the game. but always remember Sony's greed. The thumbs down is a stain on Sony's part.

If you ever had an unrelenting desire to ride a broken roller coaster, then this is the game for you.

It is a world that is whimsically dark in ways some may not be prepared for, and, goodness, is it a work of art in that way.

Whelp, after a little over 20 hours of what equated to just fighting with Rockstar's servers, I can say I'm probably done with this game for a long time. It had 2 years to get better in the first place and apparently that has equated to nothing on their end when it comes to making servers stable enough to even let people play on them.

I just want to enjoy this game with my friends. We have fun horsing around (haha cowboy pun whatever) and getting to spend time just chatting while we take on hideouts or bounties. But if we want to make any progress in this game because the online game also has a story, we are not allowed to do so and constantly get disconnected from one another.

I am a broken man at this point, because I'm not allowed even 15 minutes of play time that can go uninterrupted by bad connections that all just say "error 0x21002001". The most I can do is rove around in free roam and barely earn anything to try to get what I want done in the game. I am not ALLOWED to play missions to either progress my character's story or earn any extra money. I don't mind roaming, but when it's all that is available to me, I may as well not even play the game.

I don't want to have to constantly go into my router settings to solve a puzzle Rockstar made people pay them to have to solve.

3/10 Paid for a game that expects me to do all the I.T. related leg work to fix its problems, and has the audacity to ask me to pay more to get anything I want because its own basic features refuse to work for the majority of players

Disclaimer: If I have more play time it's me trying to force myself to genuinely enjoy something I've been wanting to do with my friends. I'm still trying to figure out if I can fix the stupid error I keep getting. I will update this review if I ever fix my issues with this game, though I doubt I will be able to

Update: If you are having constant trouble staying in the game you have a few issues/solutions to try dealing with. The main issue is your firewall for one reason or another. I tried multiple port forwards to no avail, but for some this is a solution.

However if that still proves ineffective, you must convert your internet into a DMZ for the duration you wish to play, which entails opening ALL your ports in the process. I don't want to have to do that with this every time I load it but to flip one switch is also much easier... just remember to turn off the DMZ setting when you're done.

Fills the evil hole in my little black heart with exuberant maniacal joy. If you know of Dungeon Keeper, like to play the villain, and enjoy a good RTS. this is definately a game for you. Solid 9/10 for it self aware humor, and balancing.

Honestly despise this product. It was sold to me as a 3d modeling software where i could build my own assets. Instead it required me to buy assets and i just felt swindled to say the least.

Amazing game with great destruction effects for voxel styled building. graphics are pleasing to the eye and it only gets better with friends! 10/10 in my book and hoping to see even more content down the road. for an alpha this game has tons so it can only go up from here.

Great stylization and a good turn from things like minecraft or blockland for it's dreary and satirical look and feel. fun to survive and sanity mechanic is very fun and creepy. the low sounds and cries of rabbits will pull you in, and the silly but frightening creatures always make for interesting company.
