The game has arguably some of the best ebbs and flows in gaming. From the adrenaline rushes of getting your first t2 gun back into your base & researched. To the chill times upgrading your base, and crafting items for your next roam.

The game creates its own stories, rivalries, and hilarious moments. You might even come up with some creative names for strategies or common occurances. Always plenty of options of things to do. But don't sit on your loot-- some servers die faster than others... or a rival might be stacking up explosives to raid you within the next 24 hours.

Highly recommend checking out some of the Rust YouTube stories and videos. Easily one of the best games in my library, and one that I've owned since beta and revisit often.

Comparable to Escape from Tarkov in terms of how high the skill ceiling is for gunfights and how difficult the learning curve is.
