The game itself is really great and fun. It might not be a classic snowrunner, but more of a spinoff from the normal series and even though it's a different apporach, it's a very good one. (Not saying they should keep this direction for the main series, but as a parallell series I think it absolutely work.

The major performence issues seems to have been fixed now as well together with some other awaited fixes, hence changing my recommendation status.

I've at this point almost finished 3 maps and have many more to go with already a decent amount of hours on my belt. Money to hours there's no doubt about it's worth. I think it's a very good price for the game and look forward to the expansions to come.

I'm sure to be spending many more hours into the game now that it works again! 100 % would recommend for those interested in the genre.

Beautiful game with a lot of heart in it.
A short story, but very fullfilling.

Art & design with the music and gameplay is in a very good sweet spot. Puzzles are fairly easy I'd say, yet always changing and evolving so no risk of boredom or repeating too much. Also replayability for hidden stuff after finnishing game.
Can't say anything else than that you're guaranteed to find enjoyment in this game at minimum.
Strong recommend! Wish I could forget it and play it again.

Updated review to fight for democracy 2024-05-05: Great game in the core, but publisher, aka SONY, not so much. Changing their policy after the fact and locking people out of the game is such a bad play I am surprised a big company can still come up with bad decisions like this.
I have PSN account and i'm not even in the affected region. But having to log in somewhere to log in somewhere else is just stupid in my mind, it's really one of the modern days tech cancer. If you as a company really want to do it, give something back to the people that doesn't lock out others from the main content if the can't or don't want to. Like cosmetics, one time extra credits in game or whatever. The important part is the option to it and skip some smaller benefits for it.

It's managed democracy after all!

Original review 2024-02-19: Really great game that brings back the joy of gaming that often feels missing in the modern gaming era. Decided to upgrade to super citizen edition simply to support the devs.

Game has at launch some issues, but most of the time it seems to be fixable somehow (not had it personally, but everyone I know has fixed it with some effort). But once you get past potential issues you have a great game with lots of content already. Personally I really lover the detail and care you can find in your environment. Game gives you lots of ways to do one thing and so on.

If you are unsure to get it, look at the good normal price and take a shot at it. I promise you will at least get your moneys worth of fun and enjoyment (but most likely to surpass it).

A place where english voiced lines actually aren't cringe

While the game certainly has it's good parts, I still can't recommend anyone getting into this game. While I have some good moments here and there, I'm mostly left with frustration about 80% of the time quitting the game. While I like how the game works in the most part, some parts just makes you feel like you're getting stabbed in the back by the developers (and also leads to frustration).
Since I came back to the game and got really into it, they have changed a lot of things for the worse imo. And many in the community agrees. While the devs give the impression of supporting certain points of these if not simply "ignoring" them.

To give some examples;
They removed safe spawn points at some point, making it clearly approved of spawncamping anywhere. (Also, map designs are meh with many having spawncamping abilities within a few seconds after spawning..) The community has been speaking up about it for forever, yet nothing has changed.
Missilespamming at start of match has even been said to be a "tactic" at higher tiers by the devs, while similar stuff has been blocked at start requiring more points during the actual battle to get.
Progress can be veeery slow. I'm a mediocre ground player, pretty bad in air (naval i just don't play, boring imo) meaning that even with premium account and vehicle, it takes a looong time to go where I want to in tech trees, as i'm not really interested in lower tiered vehicles (that beeing said, top tier is not fun anymore with new vehicles beeing very underpowered until fully unlocked).
Other stuff I can't think of right now as well for sure (speaking mostly for the ground part.
(Also, should note I have close to 2000 hours, not 250.. Silly steam not ´tracking correctly per usual)

Bottom line. Good concept and promising, but makes you feel opposite due to different factors. I only continue to play in wait of something else to take my interest and completing tech trees I'm interested in since I invested money here :( .

Worth it. Limitation is your imagination. Even though there might be some errors they still aren't enough to not love the game. Errors doesn't always mean bad stuff too. But anyway, the game is absolutely fantastic in my opinion if you give it some time and let your imagination into the game. If you do that, you will soon see you might have been playing enough for the day (or not ^^).

Highly recommend if you like space, to create things and just have fun, with friends or alone. The community around it is really big too which gives you big oppertunities for things like: mods, idéas, new friends and just more fun.

Do yourself a favor. Buy it, make sure you don't have to do anything for about two hours and just play it with an open and relaxed mind and the game will do the rest.
And after 1 ½ hour of playing. With the half hour that is over. Just sit, and enjoy this feeling
