For a free game with a tamagotchi like vibe and added productivity tools, it's a pretty small cosy game! It's basically a virtual pet that lives on an island. You can customise its home as well as personalising your Weyrdlet with hats, sunglasses, etc. You can interact with your little guy by either petting, feeding, grab and move, washing, applying medicine and can even tell it to stay or go to the navigation ping you've made. You can also do this in desktop mode.

With desktop mode, you can still do your normal activities or work while your Weyrdlet will run around and do its own thing. Comes with a small task bar that isn't in the way of whatever you're doing and gives access to certain options like taking off the dig or pet visibility, going back to the island and pet stats. So it's not like you're stuck with a distraction because you can't remove or unsee the pet. You can also add widgets to this mode like a to-do list, pomodoro timer and a habit/wellness tracker.

Other things you can do is level up your weyrdlet, unlock more things to buy in the shop, take it to the playground area where you can enable multiplayer mode and play with friends! There are daily tasks and you can send your pet off to adventures on a boat. Many rewards and ways of getting in game currency though there is a little bit of micro transaction as some things require the jellyfish currency to buy stuff but again it is a free game! You can add frinds, the pet also goes for a swim, plays with toys and mine does the odd booty shake dance lol. I've probably missed a few things but overall its a nice little game that many should try considering its free! The editing part of the customisation can take a little getting use to but its nothing impossible

As seen on their website, they have wallpapers you can download for when your pet is in desktop mode and they have some upcoming added features for the next few months. In August they are adding new in game characters, resident letters, playpen zone, habit tracker, more in game events and print your own Weyrdlets. September they are adding a camera/photo mode, day and night cycle and lighting related decoration. October they will be adding seasonal weather, collections: constellations and adding new mini games and then in November/December includes postcards, environment critters, in game friend finder, musical critters and much more to look forward to. So it looks like a game where they will continuously work on and add features along the way!

Things I've just remembered is you can send anonymous message in a bottle to a random player, Have these little pets for your Weyrdlet and when you adopt, it picks a random skin for you so its like a surprise of what colour variation you'll get

You can fart in the game! I'M SOLD!

Was a very interesting game with a good story. Liked how the choices of what you did would impact on the final outcome. However, what I didn't like is too much walking with the other guy - I got bored pretty quick with that part. Overall a well made game for the price that it is.
