Early Access Review
Absolutely delivering on light infantry WWII FPS gameplay in its current state and regular updates from developers have me excited for what else gets added. Weapons are lethal, maps are huge and make wide maneuvering possible, tanks are both imposing but vulnerable when isolated and being inside of one can feel as claustrophobic as it should be. This game has comfortably filled the Red Orchestra shaped hole in my heart. I had to play it for 30 odd hours before I started having opinions about class design which is a solid thumbs up in my book.

The caveat here is your game experience will be mildly tied to your commander and squad leaders as they are responsible for giving you spawn locations if nothing else. Sometimes you're stuck being commanded by David Schwimmer from Band of Brothers and you just have to run with it. Part of the authentic WWII experience, really. Broadly speaking however the people I've interacted with are understanding that everyone is trying their best, we're all here to have fun and sometimes your team just loses in spite of your best efforts. But there is definitely a game of chicken at the beginning of every match as people avoid taking the squad lead role to avoid the occasional armchair Eisenhower's in commander chat.
