If the game was the same as it was prior to 2021 I would absolutely recommend this game. Since then the player-base has been decreasing rapidly and for good reasons too. When the game was in its prime around 2015-2019 lots of people played and class/gun balancing was fairly reasonable and fun, as well as the game mechanics. But as of now they've removed what used to be fun gun gameplay and movement and have destroyed the class/weapon balancing to the point where if you don't keep up to date what seems like monthly with new weapons and gear (which you have to pay for) you will be out of the meta and will hate any time you play the game. The devs focus on pushing out content to make money over community enjoyment of the game. Almost every aspect of the game has changed, maps, guns, gear, and even regional servers. The devs push out so much content that people have to pay for that it ultimately killed their playerbase having to shut down the NA and SA servers, as well as the EU server starting to fall off too. The competitive aspect of this game was extremely fun and was rewarding enough to put your time to, now for anyone that doesn't want to participate in Russian tournaments there is no chance to participate in EU tournaments other than ones made by the community. It's only a matter of time till people from EU and RU start leaving the game and in my opinion not worth any time to start playing the game with the state it is currently in. It's a completely different game than it was before.
