I really enjoyed the game over the last 5 or so years and it has been one I consistently go back to.

That being said, the latest update did make the game far more tiring to play. Iron sights and long distance scopes became really difficult to use now so it's easiest to use classes with a red dot sight. It also made it a lot more difficult to fight vehicles as AT due to the amount of time it takes to just get your sights lined up. I understand that the focus is realism but this change gets me mentally exhausted after 1-2 games compared to me playing for the whole night before. I wish there was an option where I could just join certain servers if I wanted to play with the overhaul option on.

I'm going to give a down thumb just to give some sort of feedback to developers but I wish there was a middle option since the game doesn't suck but I wouldn't want to pay $50 for it.

Early Access Review
The game is far from complete even for an early access game.

It lacks a lot of the features I expected it to release with and a pricepoint of $50 is a lot more than what it's worth. Even if they do increase the price on full release I don't think its worth it. I'd place the value for this game in the $15-20 at most in its current state. It's filled with game breaking bugs that range from orbit trajectories completely disappearing in the middle of a trip with no way to fix it to ships losing all velocity and falling out of orbit when you change between vessels. I could probably point out 30+ major bugs in the time that I've played it. That doesn't even include the part where the FPS drops substantially as you play which can only be fixed by making a new save. It makes nearly every mission a gamble on if it will even be possible. I'm surprised that this was considered ready for release in this state.

If it wasn't for the amount of time I put into KSP1 and how much I was looking forward to this game, I wouldn't have bought it. It seems like it is going to take a long time to just fix the bugs let alone add the advertised features. I just hope that the game improves substantially but for now, I'll go back to KSP1.

This game is one of the best free to plays I have ever played. Its the kind of game that you can play for hours and still not learn everything there is. I have played 26 hours at the time of this review and still haven't used the autopilot, weapon systems, and much more. Everytime I play this I seem to learn something I didn't know before. It does take a while to get a hang of and I wouldn't recommend it to anybody who gives up easily because you do need to crash a lot in order to get a hang of everything. It is a game that seems to reward those who put in the time to learn how to fly specific planes because it has a ton of keyboard bindings, some a necessity some a conveniance. The planes you get in the free version do a good job at showing two sides of piloting. The TF-51D is a plane that in the game requires some learning in order to know how to just start it since it has an eight step proccess to start the engine. Once you get the TF-51D in the air it seems to be an easy plane to learn because it doesn't have a very high top speed and therefore has less you can mess up with in things such as landing. The SU-25T is completely different because it makes everything on the ground easy but once you are in the air you can break your wings off if you turn too sharp (which I know from experience). The community from what I have experienced is very friendly and I don't hesitate to ask them questions because they are helpful for the most part, aside from the LCtrl+e+e+e jokes every once in a while. Overall this game is great, it is a game I would willingly buy which makes it even better that it is free. If you would like a game that can teach you something while you learn, this would be a great game to try.

This game is probably the most bang for your buck if you plan to play with friends because of all the different game modes, creativity, and the community on it. I would definately recommend this game to anybody that enjoys humor in their gaming experience because this game has it. You can play anything from TTT to Horror to RPG games in this which adds a lot to the value.

PS I would suggest getting CS: Source because it will allow you to see most of the textures and it does need the original game in your library if you are trying to use models from other games.
