Honestly..F**k Ubisoft connect..
the occasional errors were one thing but completely losing all saved progress with 40 hours into the game is just garbage.
it's cloud save.. where tf did it go??!?
I was genuinely enjoying myself. grinding out all the amulets, slots and puzzles.
3 bossed from the end.
Ruined the entire experience.

I gotta say, this game surprised the hell out of me. I bought it on a whim to fill some time and keep me busy waiting for another title to come out and it and I ended up blowing off that other title for a week and a half. cool story, cool mechanics, great combat versatility, just the right amount of everything. *chef's kiss* kudos to the Devs for putting out such a fantastic and well rounded metroidvania.

Only recommending for the campaign if you can catch it on sale.
Multiplayer is absolute garbage. softbots and walling completely ruins the experience.
If you're looking for WZ caldera, buy it through battle.net as It's not included through steam client.

There's a lot complaints about crashes. It's pretty resource heavy on even medium settings but I didn't crash once. I did have an instance of overlapping cut scenes prior to the "Going dark" mission but only on my first playthrough.

Meh.
Loved these games when I was younger but they've barely changed in almost 20 years.
same brain dead narrative as the last 3 games.
"Cool combos" don't even feel as fluid as they used to and that's not enough to carry a franchise.
you can put raytracing and 4k on a turd but it's still just a well lit,detailed turd.
only recommending for nostalgia.

All these positive reviews make me wonder if we're even playing the same game..

You're practically forced to play with a controller or rebind literally EVERY key as the input commands are so clunky and range across the entire keyboard.

tutorial is total garbage and requires no skill, only repeated button mashing as the game almost doesn't even register what you're doing half the time.

third fight into the game against Lex and it crashes every.single.time. completely locking up my mouse, only fixed by restarting my pc..

Trying to install/launch through steam client is an act of masochism.

Recently played a match where I went afk halfway through the match because my whole team was just chasing kills and feeding instead of just standing on the objective.. after 6 minutes afk I still had more than triple the objective time of any of my teammates and came second in kills.
Almost every match is like this..

no tactics/no plays
highly disorganized
No one uses chat/mic
every game mode is played like TDM so you mine as well only play TDM..
If you DO choose to play the other game modes, break out your knee pads and get ready to embrace the suck.
Age demographic seems pretty young, was once reported for calling someone a "boob".
most champions are just copy pasted skills with different skins.

Just play Overwatch

At it's core it has the potential to be great but as of writing this, the amount of aimbotters and cross fire spawn campers every other game makes it miserable to play.

Watched this game grow from the ground up.

Intense grind.
Fun gameplay.
Well optimized.
Great graphics.
Not new player friendly, despite their best efforts.
Decent trade.
Soloable but heavily reliant on the trade system.
Diverse gameplay.
Ever-improving late-game and story.
quarterly events offering exclusive weapons and mod sets.
Friendly community but mostly unorganized game play.
Power creep is real in this one.
Ever expanding gameplay and mission types.
VERY In-depth modding system for all weapons, frames and companions ( and Yes, companions are legit in WF)
Good dev team with weekly streams on upcoming ocntent and fixes.

The Mastery system/Profile rank is like most, a staus symbol and gate.
By leveling weapons, waframes and companions you gain XP towards your profile ranks. Granting additional daily trades and unlocking quests, weapons and frames when reaching certain milestones.

It's also the biggest cause of Burnout in the game.The vast majoirty of the best weapons in the game are unlocked VERY early on, while most of the weapon gated by later mastery ranks are flat out terrible. However, ranking these is required to increase you profile rank. It's at this point that the game becomes very stagnant for most as the progression is no longer "fun" and feels more like "work". I'ts created a community within the community that solely relies on loot caves and leeching XP from other players to bypass the leveing (playing) process.

Aside form that. TOP F2P I've ever played. (hours played)

If you don't live for the grind, this one probably isn't for you.
