I wanted to hate this game. I actually played it to form my own opinion and it has really good gunplay and a good gameplay loop. I would appreciate a firing range at some point but besides that the game actually hits all the points that I want out of an fps.

This game is everything you want out of a PvPvE experience. It has the right amount of intensity at the right moments with the possibility of fighting real players or Arc Enemies, mixed in with a little bit of goofiness from random teammates or people RP'ing and a dash of really good game mechanics and amazing audio. a beautiful game all around atm. The game is pretty peak rn. Hopefully it keeps ascending and doesnt go the PUBG route.

Its Free with only purchasable cosmetics and no P2W. Literally better than 90% of AAA games in the same genre. Just try it, the only cost is your time and disk space.

They will literally lie, steal, and beat your ass. Then buy you roses and promise they will change. I've been here for 8yrs.

fun with friends if you were expecting a goofy game to begin with. Not sure why there are a bunch of review calling it "repetitive" There is a fairly decent story with a variety of enemies and levels. It is no more repetitive than any other online team game such as COD, Overwatch or DOTA. What I mean by that is, Yes, you will replay some levels/objectives but since there is a PvPvE element the outcome can always be different based on team compositions, enemies and modules equipped etc. There is quite a bit to do in the game and you literally DONT have to buy anything. you get multiple characters unlocked by default and all extras can be unlocked by the time you reach rank 40.

TLDR: Not more repetitive than any other team based shooter. Plenty to do and unlock. Only way to play with friends CROSSPLAY is through Microsoft Store
