Game broke after changing resolution settings, haven't found a way to fix it even after looking at the troubleshooting post.

much flow, very fun

Amid Evil is a textbook example of using simplicity in design to create a sprawling work of art. What this game lacks in weapon diversity it makes up for with excellent combat, movement and level design.

If I were a professor of game design, I'd use this game to show how to build levels that intrigue the player without needing to use complex tools.

What the game lacks in combat diversity and interesting party mechanics, it makes up in charm, story and diverse story paths. I completed the game thinking I had gotten the perfect ending, but managed to fail at 3 particular instances. Oh well, I enjoyed it fully and would highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a casual RPG.

Come for the story, stay for the charm.

Very fun

More of the same from the first game, but with a few updates and upgrades to systems. If you liked State of Decay 1, you'll like this one. If you haven't, just play this one.

A third one is on it's way, so if you're on the edge about this game, wait for the third one instead.

Played this for a very long time on the 360 before upgrading to PC a long time ago. Great game, wish it would get a sequel

Beat (not 100%) Axiom Verge. Very nice story. I'm disappointed though because I saw the twist coming pretty early and the gameplay didn't live up to the hype. Bosses were either incredibly easy or incredibily frustating and traversing levels felt like a chore more than an adventure often making me have to go through zones I've already been in to see if I had missed something important and not just secrets.

There was one particular point that left me pretty annoyed, which was a puzzle that was never hinted at and never used again elsewhere but was required to beat the game (unless there was a skip, Idk)

I also didn't like the True ending to the game (I looked it up), but I guess that's because I started to prefer the villain of the game over the protagonist.

6/10, Play it, don't use a guide if you don't have to, possibly beat it. Don't bother with 100% unless the game really sticks with you.
