Give someone a hammer and they may see a few nails, but give them a pair of winches and everything becomes an anchor point.

A game that truly pulls you in.

Early Access Review
Having spent roughly 20+ hours playing the game via it's standalone launcher (at time of writing, 01/11/2015) and now migrating to STEAM, I have found this to be an impressive early access game. I have found it easy to pick up and play, highly enjoyable and generally a worthwhile investment of time. I've not sunk this much energy into a game for a considerable period.

Points of concern for people coming into the game, who may be new to early access, could be; The limited selection of levels and weapons. There is a reasonable amount for the stage of development that the game is in but people should be aware that it is early in the state of development and thus still hasn't got a full feature set.

There have been some issues with controls, particularly mouse. At time of writing, I can happily attest that my mouse is working and extremely comfortable, though the issue persists for others. Descendent Studios has been hugely active within the community in it's attempts to resolve this issue.

The game, though easy to pick up, can be unforgiving if you're new to it. Likewise if you are unsued to six degrees of freedom movement (6dof) or the fact that ships have specific physics to their turn rate/movement.

As a note; for those who have an interest in feedback/information on the development of the game, generally the amount of information and developer involvement with the community is quite high. I've yet to experience a situation where I've not felt like I know what is going on.

I can happily recommend this game. It's an awful lot of good fun. It is likely not for everyone but anyone who has a love of arena-style Quake or UT games may wish to give it a look.
