You don't keep your progression, unlocked gods and skins from Smite 1.
Unfortunately this is a deal breaker for me... If you have already purchased or unlocked one thing, why unlock it again in a remastered better looking version of the same game?

For the Devs: Please follow the example of Counter Strike 2, an upgrade of CS:GO where players kept their items and progression.
