Most games have been disappointing lately like the new cod. This one I believe is a hidden gem. There are not tons of players but enough to find matches if you can wait 5 minutes. The artwork and skins are peak and they make an effort to bring new content with the updates. There are a ton of different modes and ranked can get quite competitive for a lesser known game. Tons of potential here.

Edit: After playing nearly 1,000 hours, I think the ranked system needs a rework. I lost 10 games in a row and I was SVP 6 or 7 times... I still lose 20 elo because my teammates are bricks. I can only describe it as rigged in a way because it punishes good players. This is quark level btw. I think the SVP should get +5 elo. That would motivate people to actually try. A lot of players just give up when their team is losing, myself included sometimes after the 10th loss in a row. Sometimes matchmaking will reward you for playing bad by giving you a way better team. Overall its very broken. There are players better than me stuck in electron and absolute bricks who are superstring. What a joke. The SVP getting +5 would make it so much better and reward good players.

Overall it is a well put together game and well worth the $20. The art style is interesting but I like it. There is plenty to do such as fighting bosses, building structures, hunting, looting dungeons, and much more! The progression is at a good pace and feels very rewarding with every stage of the game you reach. Online is cool but the game isn't really focused on the PvP aspect. Playing solo is also very fun.
