No private solo mode means I have to regularly baby sit players with the self preservation of potatoes. I am tired of starting out with the semi compentent bots only to have the lobby filled with players who believe its still 2020 and social distancing is a big part of their character's arc...

So until solo private lobbies, I will keep enduring, but its a no from me

Maybe I don't get it but this game is just awful. I could go into the bad combat and the visuals that are mainly just looking at pea soup. But honestly I have died so many times to falling because the platforming failed to vault that I am too tired...

I waited 5 years for this. I wanted to like it. I loved Bloodlines. But this feels like a cheap cyberpunk clone. Its a walking sim with bad movement and fight intervals with terrible fight mechanics(I went back to 1, its fighting is better imho). On top of it so far the world feels empty and lifeless and the characters feel incredibly one dimensional. At least compared to 1(which I am going to compare it too if you're going to call it Bloodlines 2). At the moment I am playing for the story to see how that goes as I see a few people saying that that's at least good. I will update once I finish I guess

Love the game. A little grindy after the newer patches but still worth it with friends.

Look, I really enjoyed the little I got to play of this game, and if you are lucky enough to play it all the way through I am sure it would be a blast. It can be a bit grindy but I love the atmosphere and setting. There are a few things that could be made easier like the collection of crafting materials, or maybe that happens later in the game. I won't know because the cut scene between day 2 and 3 crashes on my PC every single time. And, while I could look for a work around or a fix for it, I feel I shouldn't have to given the games price. So, excellent idea (as far as I played), well executed, with game breaking bugs. I might try again if the reviews become less about the bugs.

The game crashed twice on startup. I then played about half and hour. In that time I probably spent 5 full minutes with the game completely frozen and only had a total of about 3 minutes of sound. As far as I am concerned this is not good enough for a developer as big as Bethesda. And before all the "HAHA its Bethesda what do you expect", I work in IT. If I ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up this badly and released an unusable product I'd be fired. So I "expect" the company to be better over time instead of seemingly getting worse. (Yes I used and SSD, but there again, decent optimisation would mean you would not "require" one)

This is my first impression. I do hope to actually play it one day as the story, what little I understood, seemed interesting, but in the current state I wouldn't go near it at all

I can't seem to find a straight answer to this but I really hope this game is fictional. As a fictional game it is one of the most depressing games I have ever played. People I know have told me that they themselves and others use this to get through times where they struggle with their own coding projects and that I should try it. For me, however, it pushed all the buttons to shut down my creativity and motivation and leave me in a heap on the floor. If that was the intended effect Bravo, very well executed. If this is non-fiction on the other hand...well lets rather stay in the relatively cheery and downright joyous idea that its fictional(thankfully things do seem to point that way). I feel physically ill with depression, thanks guys

Is it as in depth as it could be? no. But this game does sort of scratch that cryptid hunting itch that I have. I love the hunter/hunted feel that you can get from this game and the enjoyment of trying to find the META on each creature. And the aesthetic works incredibly well for this sort of game.
