Early Access Review
Very easy to make money once you figure out the prices of most items are and the best way to take them. Wanted to try to steal the Eiffel Tower in the casino level, but haven't figured out how to yet. Once you know what you are doing you can make over 100k a run. Did this a few times and unlocked everything and bought 30 of every item just because i can. Definitely more fun with friends. Items need to be balanced or change their price based on their usefulness. For example, the hammer makes super loud noises but only costs 50, the wrench is 150 and is basically the go to for stealth. Haven't tried to kidnap anyone yet as the other reviews described.
VR mode seems really necessary for trying to orient things through windows in stealth. It is doable in regular mode, but a pain in the butt.
Super exited to see more levels, items, and whatever other content they plan to release in the future.

Hope they add a flatbed semi truck, Van semi truck needs a ramp or the lift gate to work more effectively.
Also, would be nice if they added a feature if you lose your items if you go into custody or something of that nature, like phasmaphobia does. (they didn't do it the best either but there is some incentive to buy more than the set amount of items this way)

Little tip for those trying to figure out how to make a crap load of money, high end items are usually attached and need the hammer/wrench to detach them.

Edit: Just got a chance to play with my VR set, and found out that being on a different computer there isn't currently a cloud save, so I'll have to get my other computer and find the save and copy and paste it onto this PC. Also, the VR controls feel a little wonky, I'll get used to it after a little bit more play, but most of the buttons feel like they have forced mapping. Grabbing and placing things on the tool-belt is a bit of a pain. Still Recommend VR though.
Found out a few things since my last post, but if you can figure out how to steal the Eiffel Tower, it's worth 120,000.

Really hard to get a good game, but for the free to play, it's pretty fun. i would pay 3-5 bucks for it, but it cost like 12 or some crap to get the game... most people like to just attack you because your territory looks nicer than theirs.... grass is greener on the other side i guess... completely ignoring the guy snowballing his units. usually these are the expert players for some reason too.... no idea why. Fun to pick up and play for a bit, and drop whenever. Not a game i would invest a lot of time into, but fun none the less.

Edit: i ended up caving and buying the unlimited play. However i have been running into an issue lately where the game will try to reconnect me, will reconnect, but the X button wont go away, so i am not reconnected, basic having the game forfeit for me...

Fun Game to play with friends and mess around. Gets pretty difficult quickly if you have a poor connection.

Great to burn time when you get bored, but watch out, it is higly addictive. Ignore the negative reviews about how the game is play/pay to win... you can easily beat an older player with the starter gear if you play properly.

The concept is really good and the mechanics of the game are nice...
My gameplay experience has lead to believe there are too many bad apples in this game... There seem to be too many smurfers... as to why they smurf; just to wreck noobs (yes me)? or just because the like to play the game but their friends aren't on to que with?.
Usually every so often the devs decide... oh this character needs a buff.... now it is litterly auto win if your team has it.
Whenever Ronimo comes out with a new character... if you don't have the DLC, you are nomally going to lose as they are broken as hell...
There seems to be a lot less people that I que with that aren't playing on the moon so they do not hit me in my base to kill me... which is nice.
The only reason I have stuck around this long is because I have a ♥♥♥♥ friend (he is a jerk a large portion of the time) that is addicted to this game.

Also I really hate penny.

I personally found the game to be based a lot around the power-ups, which of course are really good. Finding out the timings and getting the first power-up is very important. AI are a little derpy sometimes but I very much enjoy playing the game.

Even though this game can be Very frustrating at times, due to a lack of coordination because nobody listens to pings and the chat is very hard to notice during the heat of battle, I absolutely adore this game

Though this game has a lot of grinding to get EVERYTHING, it gives me the insentive to keep playing for replay value. I like games that I have a very long term goal, that is possible if you play enough... such as for example the seriously 2.0 achievement from gears of war 2. A very rare thing to have, but something to show off if you like the game a lot.

The tutorial... well it is a bit of a confusing game at first, but once you pick it up, it is very fun.
Though the solo queing experience isn't very fun, if you are playing with a single friend it is like an addiction. Problem with that is you can only have one friend playing with you currently as there is probably a bit of lack of playerbase for enough people for 5v5 PvP games. Though it can still be fun with up to 4 other friends in coop.

Anyone starting out, don't get discouraged because the game is a little confusing.
My advice to everyone new is look though some gameplay footage, probably grind out or buy all the units, try them all (for the love of got in coop) and stick with it until you max it.

I know this is a bunch of negative stuff, sorry. I really like the rest Exp system that encourages playing multiple units. The devs are very interactive and extremely friendly. As far as I know, it seems they know what they want their game. There is a reconnect feature, there is coop for the casual players, there is even solo games that allow you tot test stuff.
For the most part the community is fairly nice with of course the negative person... probably just a little frustrated after losing some units due to a a bit of unlucky positioning or lack of teamte response.
With enough community, maybe a custom lobby system, and replay system (some time in the future hopefully). I think this game could be a great ESL game.

After you get through the tutorial, which i thought was nice but my friend didn't like it... I found the game very enjoyable. As you level, you get PLENTY of resources to buy mines and a cheap defense. Once you reach around level 30ish, as long as you don't waste your materials, you should have plenty to buy some good stuff, like the weekly most wanted item(s). You can easily unlock EVERYTHING as free to play as long as you know what you are doing. Just save up for a bling mine and wait for them to come back. {850}
The only current P2W aspect I have actually found out about the game is a boss called Flameo. In my opinion he is super broken, but that is probably mostly because I can not use him. I do hear that it is only early access and he will be available for everyone... probably at a heafty price or he gets nerfed.
The weekly most wanteds are very cool and keep old players coming back (probably) just to check in to see what it is and buy a few for their castle if they like them.

I change my view this game sucks with the last patch they released... I am done with games changing their mechanics... when I play a game, i want to play that game not 10 versions of it and be forced into whatever version the developers like. If you want a different game, release an expansion or a 2nd game.
