I moved countries because of among us, Don't even look at my hours, my friends have 4x more. The game isn't great as a standalone, but when you combine it with discord it becomes a lot funner. Join the community servers & be nice. The ins and outs of the game are genuinely difficult to learn and you'll often pick up things from more experienced players, Without private discord lobbies, the game is a solid 5/10 but with you meet genuinely amazing people.

I love games with this style of art and gameplay, but there is and was something so unsatisfactory about this particular game. I don't know why it was so bad - the grinding mechanics felt subpar compared to other games I've played such as Spiritfarer and finding villagers was incredibly boring. They had no interactions worthwhile. I didn't even know I accepted a date from a partner! I really wanted to get ~100 hours and complete the game just so I thought the review was fair, but there was nothing that could push me that far. It was just.. boring. I couldn't mentally do it. Additionally, if you have triggers from being watched by 100 eyes (there should really be a feature that turns the plants 'eyes' off like how cockroaches are glass in House Flipper) don't play this game as it is unavoidable. It's one of the few games on the market in this genre, but it's so boring I can't recommend it at all.

Seasons After Fall is a game I have completed with about 15 hours playtime. For me, it was about a 10 hour storyline. When I first started this game in November, it was amazing and mesmerising. The graphics were - and still are - gorgeous. However, you need to play this game without major breaks. Coming back half-way through the game 5 months later, I was wondering aimlessly, no idea what I was doing because I didn't remember and there was no check marks or journal to remind me. I had to check my steam achievements and google to figure out I was meant to do altars and dreams.

This game is amazing with a great, emotional story, but I personally don't think it's worth playing casually. Really, you need to play it while the game is fresh in your mind. There is no recap and it can be fustrating to get so lost if you don't remember what you did before.
