I understand this is just a demo but this will be purely about my experience with this demo. It's a fun concept at first but the novelty of the atmosphere wears off after the first few games when you start to realize where the frustration starts to kick in.

I find myself hitting alt+F4 the instant I make 3 mistakes but it's not due to rage. It's funny that in a game with no momentum or comeback mechanics it snowballs pretty heavily unless nearly everyone in the room has the same skill level which is next to impossible. Outside of the top 3, maybe 4, the majority of the room doesn't stand a chance at winning all it takes is to look at the "race" markers to see everyone's positions. Before halfway into the race you know whether you're gonna win or lose. The problem is that the game immediately ends when the first player finishes, so there's no further competition between everyone else. On top of that, the only stat getting tracked is whether you won or not, so 2nd place is equal to last.

Even if you remove all HUD info and remove all sound from other players so that you can't even tell how far they are from the newline *DINGS* from their typewriters, this issue isn't solved because there's a general pattern to being able to tell anyways. I've only played a few hours but that's enough for me to know that you can still get 1st place if you mess up once or twice in a section, but if you ever have to play russian roulette there's a 5% chance you have at getting 1st.

That's why I alt+F4. The animation of putting the bullet in the gun is so long that it pisses me off and I stop caring if I live or not. I close the game instantly because I just want to get into another room where I actually have a chance of winning instead of playing out a lame duck scenario. They need to make it more interesting for the rest of the room or have the option to play different modes less frustrating than the one in this demo

This game is like a more intense version of rhythm heaven. It's pretty fun.

Easier on the hands than smash bros and more fun to move around in than smash bros

This game was already good value back when I bought it and it was less than 10% of the game it is today.

Pretty good game. Excellent story. Don't pay any attention to its awful fanbase, or read any reviews or anything about this game. It's best to go in blind into this game and pay no attention to anything outside of it.

This is one of the best mods I've seen for a valve game. This game is basically a expanded single player adventure that chooses to expand on the story behind Portal 2.
  • The voice acting is well done and doesn't feel amateurish.
  • The game mostly takes place in the same place as portal 2 so it's going to look similar but it has several original graphical designs and models that keep it fresh.
  • The difficulty basically picks up from the end of portal 2 so it starts out very basic and quickly catches up to what any portal 2 veteran is used to. A few of the puzzles are a bit tricky and really force you to use every aspect of the tools you're given to work with.
  • For a user made single player mod, it is really well tested. In any of the puzzles I was never able to stuck myself and didn't run into any glitches. Soon after this mod was released there was a patch that apparently fixed a bug or two.
  • Total playtime will depend on how quickly you solve the puzzles but it should be a bit less than portal 2 given that this mod is acting like an expansion

The only negative I can think of is that this game starts out a little slow at the beginning and has you walking around for several maps before you do actual puzzle solving. With all this in mind, this mod is well done enough that you could almost call it Portal 2: Episode 1

I bought this on a whim after seeing the disaster that was SimCity 5. I saw that everyone wanted a city sim game so I might as well buy one since I've never played this genre. For a genre I've never played, it hooked me instantly and pulled me through the entire campaign. I've only beeten the main campaign and I'm already at 100+ hours.

Unless you dislike or just don't have fun with city sim games, I recommend this. It has easily understandable mechanics, good learning curve, great social/political humor, and is just plain fun.

Amazing racing game. It completely stomps on any recent mario kart game released within the last 8 years. Interesting character selection, incredibly unique and interesting tracks (a ton of them too), really solid driving mechanics, best item balance I've seen in a while. If you enjoy this kind of arcade/kart racer, this game will not disappoint.

Very fun and fast paced platformer. Starts out really easy and slowly but surely keeps incrementing the difficulty as you go progress through the levels such that near the end you'll tell yourself "wow how the hell did I do that".

Controls are some of the best in a platformer and every time you die, it always feels like it's your own fault and not the game's fault. It comes with a huge amount of levels and more if you count the portal where you can download levels others have made.

This game is great. It no longer uses GFWL like the original paid game, but it has fully integrated steamworks. It's like a faster paced call of duty but everyone has a lot more health so you don't die in 2 bullets and there's actual gunfights. There is much more freedom of movement due to items like grappling hook, gliding cape, high jump shoes, etc. The game has a wacky and comical style to it that doesn't take itself seriously at all.

On top of all this, this game is not Pay2Win in any way. Everything that matters to gameplay can be unlocked just by playing. Everything that is paid DLC is only cosmetic items or to skip the grind, and there isn't a lot of grind to begin with since you can get the loadout you want within a few matches. The game is pretty good in terms of this PC port, as it even has FOV options

Overall it's just a really fun game. I recommend it to anyone that likes multiplayer shooters.
