Just going to do a quick campaign, grow a little empire... and now it's 4 am.

Complicated game that's pretty intense to get into at first. Yet when once it clicks, it's one of the most satisfying strategy games I've played. Up there with Civ 6 in enjoyability. Don't sleep on the excellent mods that are available.

Biggest Con: You need all of the Expansions to get the best experience

Khazan is a brutal Souls-like that tests you at every point along your journey.

Pros

• Amazing boss fights that are actually challenging
  
• Great soundtrack
  
• Combat feel great and responsive

Middle of the Road

• Hub area is meh and tedious to use
  
• Regular enemies are mostly boring

Cons

• The game overstays its welcome with the bonus missions (Which some are required for the true ending)
  
• Level design is mostly uninspired and reused for said bonus missions
  
• Bonus missions add very little are only there to pad playtime and spit lore

If you are a souls-like fan, you will like this game. Sale or not, I believe I got my money's worth.

More Elden Ring, More Coop, More Fun,

Another iteration in the modern DOOM era, DOOM: The Dark Ages fits comfortably with them but probably closer to the bottom of the pack. The new combat loop and pace was a fun re imagining of in your face DOOM combat and I truly feel that its impressive how all 3 modern DOOMs have felt unique from one another.

Major criticisms I have are:
1. The dragon and mech sections slow down game play in a jarring way. The dragon dodge-shoot loop is old school but overall uninteresting. The mech combat is simple beat-em up on rails. Cool set pieces every-time they do appear, gimmicky at best in execution.
2. The departure of Mick Gordon is very noticeable. Not saying the OST is bad, yet not as memorable as the first two games by a long shot. Not really something that could get fixed anymore, but it feels necessary to still point out.

DOOM worthy carnage that's not worth full price. Wait for sale

This game is not easy. On the normal difficulty, the dodge and parry times are extremely tight. Some enemies inflict a ridiculous amount of damage if you fail to time your reaction right. In gameplay, this feels intentional. The game is not supposed to be a breeze. This is NOT a traditional turn-based combat game; it requires your full attention while you play.

Update after main story: Absolute Cinema. Thank you for making most of the game boss fights. One of the best soundtracks in games I've played.

Super high octane gameplay with some hella fun (and some super annoying) missions. Story is kinda uninteresting, didn't feel much for any of the npcs except for the wingman near the end. You can pick this game up for super cheap, just wait for sale and enjoy.

This game is an experience. Choices matter, all that good stuff. Recommend to anyone who enjoys story games. This ♥♥♥♥ is a straight movie

Best game to come out of Hazelight Studios. Solid 9/10 for me. Had a few crashes happen on my friends end but never twice at the same place. About 8 - 12 hours of gameplay, depending if you do all the side stories.
