Game is a *HARD* sell right now.
The groundwork is there for an amazing game, and it can give you a few hours of content, but the crashing and save/game ruining bugs tell me the game needs a few more months of development.

Combat, while slow, feels good. 2H weapons are weighty, and the impacts are nice. Ranged is also viable enough, assuming your switching to dagger/sword/etc.

Magic though, so far, seems both the strongest option AND the most prone to the aforementioned game-breaking bugs.

I picked up a spell, Wall of Force I believe, and as soon as I used it the game black screen'd and froze up. Exited to menu, tried to reload, and apparently my save got corrupted! For better or worse, the game does let you re-make a character in the same world with about as high level as you got, if you want (or, in my case, need) to re-roll.

All in all, I like where the game can go, and will be excited to play it in a few months/years time once its closer to feature complete.

Cool game, too PVP focused. Within leveling areas, you will have max level gankers running around and killing people at random/in public events, because *lol lmao*.

Slow, slow, and SLOW!

Its a monster collector/fighting game. I, and I assume most people who have the game, have full time jobs. I can't be asked to sit here and kill level 20 mobs over and over and over for *each* 'mon because of a lack of global EXP share, a *need* to sit down and watch every animation play out in full without any sort of major Fast Forward, and the tedium of having to slowly backtrack through regions without any fast travel.

Art and animations are nice, but I don't have the time to play Pokemon Red at a slower pace with the reward of just hentai.

It took out a majority of the Immersive Sim experience the older titles gave the player, and replaced it with a looter-shooter experience...
Map design is okay, but with a lack of optional routes, you will be backtracking through explored zones again, and again. Not because you unlocked Lockpicking 2, or Hacking 3, but because you didn't have the space for (ammo) or (medical) and now you need it.

I approve of the different difficulty options for Combat/Exploration/Puzzles, and more games going forward should do that. I don't have the reaction speed like I did 15 years ago, so hard combat is less enjoyable for me, so I appreciate being able to tone down combat difficulty and leaving the rest of the game mostly the same.

Minimal story, maximum toxic yuri.
Combat and dungeon crawling content is alright, but I can't see myself putting more time into the game to see endgame combat.
Art style is cute, but with characters being cardboard cuttouts with 1(one) personality trait to them within the first 3 levels of the dungeon, I can't recommend it.

Its a puzzle game, not an X-com/Tactical RPG.
Dialogue and character writing is great, it knows to not take itself serious.
Its hard not to use the literally one-shot-any-enemy character at full power at all times, considering the other characters buff them to absurd levels in the mid-late game.

The rotating minimap, along with displaying *EVERY SINGLE LAYER* at once, made me physically sick and unable to continue playing the game.

Interesting concept but a lackluster experience.

I came in expecting a more modular ship, with spots for armor/weapons/hold/crew, a-la FTL or Project Nomad. Instead, you have (as far as I have experienced) a choice of some ships designs for different stats, 1 main weapon slot, and 1 aux weapon, and the ult beam.

A very LARGE part of the game is also not centered on the ship, but on on-foot island exploration, often using the grappling hook to go to segmented parts of an island, or even larger islands forcing you back on your ship over and over again to go a few meters due to a large wall, or a puzzle segment blocking more of an island. (Also, I know its just for the sake of gameplay, but how do walls even work in a setting where you have *FLYING* ships?)

A frustrating focus on the ground combat & not enough customization of the ship drag this down from a cool little game to an un-fun experience.

Can't even get past the first hour without game-breaking levels of unplayability. Lags, fade/pop ins, bad textures, etc.

Not worth it on PC at the moment, even after turning the graphics down just to try and play it.

Massive disappointment.
