I started playing at the end of season 6 on PS5 and I'll go ahead and say that I like the game, but it's indeed all about getting a lot of money for as little as possible. You need to play a few matches before you're allowed to play local co-op. There's only one (on ps5) character available at start and you'll have to spend a lot of time to simply unlock another one. You'll spend a lot more time to unlock more characters. Or you can use 100€ to get 3 characters. Sure, some characters can be bought for cheaper, but we are not talking about couple of euros.

I wouldn't recommend spending any money on this since all characters feel pretty much the same, so you're not really getting something special by spending money. The game feels sort of polished, but also not. There's quite a lot of bugs that can easily be replicated on same levels. For example one little mermaid level has a grind spot that you often pass through. Also ranked multiplayer is pretty much P2W since F2P is a huge grind with restrictions. Your skills don't matter much when other players go much faster than you. Some levels actually feel like they were designed with long stretches where low level players will be left behind. In this game if you get far enough from others you've pretty much won. There's basically nothing like the blue shell from Mario and even the last place doesn't get any special speed boosts.

Still, I like the game as F2P and I don't really care about the newest characters, so I'm having a blast.

I'm surprised. I saw the reviews few years back and decided on not getting the game, but it definitely runs awesome now. I wish there were some more graphic settings to increase quality further and that the button mapping was simpler. Kinda feels silly that I occasionally have to press alt + middle button or ctrl + 1 + 1 type of combinations. Feels like everything is using its own combinations rather than there being some main action button. For example entering the batmobile, interrogating characters and opening doors use separate buttons. I feel like all of these could have been E for example.

Other than that the gameplay is fast paced and I don't feel like anything is blocking me from doing something. For example you can easily call the batmobile to where you are, drive around and then just eject out and glide elsewhere and all of that takes just a few seconds.

Early Access Review
A fun and chill game that I really enjoy. There's no rush on anything, so you can start stuff and just leave them be if you need a break. The game also has online saves, so you can jump from one device to another with ease.

I'm only worried that eventually things will be made difficult in order to sell something to help boost gameplay. Currently paid currency can only buy cosmetics and furniture, but there's plenty available for free and I haven't felt like I need to buy anything extra with real money yet.

Fun shooter especially with friends, but the developers clearly do not understand how to get new players to stay.
There are so many paywalls and the story is really hard to make sense of since you're thrown around to completely different campaigns randomly when starting the game. A lot of the story is hidden behind season (passes) so you also miss extra information that is quite relevant to the story, so next update comes and you're left wondering what the heck is going on. You can't just proceed through the timeline as it is and instead get spoilers about the story in every possible way.

How about an option to force the game to follow the main storyline in order?

They release new content and then they make old content useless. My inventory is filled with items that say they're completely safe to delete, so all that hard work to gather them is rendered useless. They don't want you to progress too fast.

Never buy the DLC for full price. It's just not worth it. This has been an issue since Destiny 1. They originally cut off a lot of main story content and sold it off in DLC's. Actually, long before the DLC's were made available people were able to glitch into the DLC areas that were fully available in the base game, but were activated when you bought DLC. They then released Taken King and forced you to buy the whole game + DLC's again for full game price rather than allowing old players to buy just the DLC for cheaper. They then released the game currency and now you can spend at least 20€ to buy single armor skins or even more to unlock seasonal content during the year.

To fully enjoy the game you'll have to be prepared to spend hundreds on this game each year.
Activision was bad, but it feels like Bungie wants to be worse with their monetization.

Buy on sale.
The Room is a rather nice VR game, but the length just doesn't justify the 30€ (or 20€) price.
The puzzles are somewhat simple, but unique and I genuinely enjoyed solving them.

Other than length I really hated the movement. Just like in other The Room games there are certain spots you go to and stand there. Sure you can move around yourself, but you're not supposed to. Turning around with the thumb stick resets your location in game meaning that it's harder to "feel" where you're standing in real life. In other games even with snap turning I had an idea of where I was, but with this game it somehow messes up with your senses when the location resets in game.

The game is actually shorter if you don't miss anything.
In the church you have to fix an organ and I failed to notice something which allowed me to turn some of the pipes around. I probably spent 30mins looking around in the area since I didn't want to use hints.

I've now finished VR Amazing Files: Horro Hospital.

Initially I gave this a negative review where I explained some bugs I had experienced. The developer (as seen on comments) quickly responded and fixed the main issue I had and the game got a lot more enjoyable.

Basically this is your basic escape room type of game with some enemies thrown into the mix and you're just trying to get solve puzzles and move from one are to the next.
I enjoy these types of games and the puzzles here were quite difficult for the first half.
The game is split into 4 scenes, each which you can conviniently replay after finishing it once, and each of them are quite short. I'm certain that I could do a playthrough that lasted 10-20 minutes if I wanted.
However as you can see I did spend quite a few hours with this. Most of that is me being stupid or restarting due to bugs, but the first half of the puzzles were puzzling and kept me guessing what to do. You'll probably get around one or two hours of gameplay time from this, if you're a simple fellow.
How so? Well, I myself felt lost during the two first scenes. I missed some small but obvious hints and took my time figuring them out. The puzzles however get a lot easier and straightforward on scene 3 and 4. They get shorter and much much simpler and I can tell that not a lot of effort was put into the ending.
Ah, the ending... I really don't know what to say
Spoilers! Don't proceed if you want to finish it yourself!
...It becomes a shooter. You solve a small gear puzzle and get to shoot monsters. I guess it was kinda fun, but it totally ruins the "Forget about killing most zombies" mood. The music was cool though.
After using all the pistol ammo I had some shotgun ammo left and shotguns locked in a cabinet with a puzzle on the ceiling. I could have tried solving the puzzle and killed rest of the enemies, but why would I do that when I simply teleported quickly past them and finished the game?
So it was slightly dissappointing, but we'll see if the devs will do some adjustments.
End of spoilers

And indeed there are bugs still left in this game. Some of these were a hinderance that forced me to restart a level and some were quite an annoyance. Do expect game breaking stuff to happen.

Now you've propably realised that I still gave this a recommendation even with all of its flaws? That's because I still enjoyed it. I honestly can write a long list of bugs and negative experiences I had with this, but the game was simple enough that I could enjoy it even with the occasional swearing and I'm glad that I finished it.
One last note is that on my previous halfway finished review I stated that the price is spot on now. The thing is that when the bugs get removed and you can have a solid playthrough, I'm not sure how long of an experience this will be for new players and whether 9€ is okay for them. But I can tell you that it's a lot better than the original 20€.

[EDIT] I guess my 3.2h from last two weeks is pretty close to what it actually took me to finish this.

A short interactive story.

Basically you're given a lightsaber and then it's taken away after you've played with it for a minute or two.
Still a fun experience and I definitely want to see some longer stories like this to be released.

Also, for some reason it always defaults to the left controller when you're using two and I find that strange.
You either have to swap hands (if you're right handed) or start with one controller. The story itself is so short that you'll be playing something else soon, so you wouldn't want to hazzle with the controllers while wearing your VR headset.

This one is really short. REALLY.

It still gives you an good idea of how a roller coaster might feel with a VR headset, so you might want to try this one if you're worried about getting sick on a longer experience.

I didn't have any issues with this and it's free, so I guess I'm going to recommend it, but it really is so short that if it would have been $1 I wouldn't recommend it then, so don't expect too much.

Invasion! was... interesting?
Definitely something aimed at kids, but it was fun.

There's not a whole lot to this, but the animation is good and gives a good impression on VR animations.
I was slightly annoyed by the fact that I had a body, but I couldn't move it. For example simply being able to wave would have been enough even if the characters wouldn't react to it.

Still, it's definitely something I recommend to try if you're interested in this sort of thing.
