Well you take a cat, rub it on a cat, then that cat gets real fat. Not too sure what's up with that.

This game is a lot of fun. Instead of using one team and leveling them up forever, you have to breed them and use the offspring for the next adventure. Then you have to go through everything you already cleared with the previous team to get to the next area, and then clear that with the new team too to unlock the next one. It's a bit different from how games usually work but it makes sense. Ten hours in and I'm only 1% complete. That's crazy.

Do not pay money for this. The entire game consists of a click, then 30 seconds of waiting, repeated 5 times. That's it. It is not worth $3. It's not even worth 3 cents.

It's a great game. There's a lot to explore and the story was fun and engaging. I was surprised at how customizable the fox is, it's crazy how much about them you can tweak. The controls feel good and fluid and if you enjoyed the first game this one is a great successor to it.

The developers baked so much detail into this game and really brought Hogwarts to life in a way I didn't even know I needed. The story is great, the side quests are great, the castle looks amazing, and I'm not even a huge Harry Potter fan. The game has so much content and I couldn't find a single instance of the developers cutting corners on anything. In fact it was quite the opposite; I was constantly impressed time and time again when I looked more closely at different things and noticed how much additional detail was actually baked into it than I had originally thought.

The game is extremely immersive and it gave me a whole new appreciation for the Harry Potter franchise. There's tons of exploration to do, secrets to be found, and Hogwarts alone is so large that learning the layout of just the castle took dozens of hours. There are a few bugs like weird lighting glitches in caves that makes everything super bright during the day, but I didn't encounter anything major and I thoroughly explored nearly everything the game had to offer. The kneazles are my favorite beast type and I only wish we could have been allowed to have a cat, owl, or toad companion like in Harry Potter. But honestly I'm not even sure what function they would serve if that was a feature.

I was excited to play this. I purchased it and let it download. Then when it came time to play, I became stuck on a screen that said waiting for response from auth server. This is a single player completely offline game. Why does it need an auth server for anything?

Well, it turns out Sony wants you to create a PSN account in order to play this on your PC. Why? Good question. Well, because I wanted to play, I signed up for a PSN account. On the final step of account creation, I was told I needed to contact Sony support in order to finish creating my account. There was absolutely no information on how I was supposed to do that. I went to the Sony support site and there was literally no way to contact them anywhere on the site. I had to LLM it in order to get a support number because searching for one didn't yield any results either.

At this point I've been trying to figure out how to contact them for an hour. So I call the number and I am told that I need to call back within business hours. I check the time and the time they said they close is still 45 minutes away. That was the final straw. I uninstalled the game and refunded it.

Why do I have to create a PSN account in order to play an offline single-player PC game that I purchased on a PC game store? Why do I have to contact an uncontactable support chain in order to create that account? Why does creating the account make it mandatory that I enter detailed info like my city of residence and my ZIP code? It's like they don't want people playing this or something. This is asinine. How is creating a brand new blank PSN account going to verify or authenticate a single thing anyway? You want me to link a blank PSN account to my Steam account in order to play a game when you know full well I'm not going to use that PSN account for anything else ever, why? I shouldn't have to try to jump through hoops for hours and hours in order to even get to the title screen. I do not recommend this.

This game is amazing. It looks amazing, the gameplay is amazing, the lore and cutscenes are amazing, it's all just really good. The only thing I'd complain about is the lack of any sort of mapping, but I completely understand how that would be detrimental to the exploration aspect of the game. It makes sense to not have one because learning the terrain and exploring to find out if you missed anything is a much better experience over glancing at a map and mindlessly beelining for the checkpoint marker.

The bosses and NPCs are all unique and that honestly blows my mind considering how many of them there are in this game. I love the way the different animals actually act like they're that animal and aren't just human personalities wrapped in an animal shell. The wolves growl and bark, the rats snarl and sniffle, the foxes yip and chitter, the monkeys yap and spin, the felines roar and display their impressive agility despite their enormous sizes, the boars try to flip enemies with their snouts, the frogs use their legs and tongues to their advantage, the cobras hiss and spit, etc. It really feels like you're interacting with the animal and all of its unique characteristics and traits and not just, again, a sowrdsman in the body of an animal that has nothing in terms of mechanics or behaviors to show for it. Even the different types of avians and dragons behave like their species and act accordingly. The studio really did do a great job with this game.

I loved every minute of this game. The little details in the backgrounds and the environments in general are very pleasing to look at. It all works together to really sell the scene and keep you on edge, especially when you factor in the ambiance. Each setting is beautifully crafted and playing through this was a very pleasing experience every step of the way.

This game was great. If you love games like Limbo and Inside then you'll love this game too.

Early Access Review
This game is great and addicting. There are a few bugs here and there, but nothing that ruins the gameplay experience. Being able to work with the pals and ride on them and such is really neat.

This game is great. I enjoyed nearly all of it. My only complaint is the finicky climbing bugs that can yeet you off of things which forces you to repeat the entire climb from the ground over and over and over again. I had to do the final climb at least two dozen times because of it. But I can easily overlook that seeing as this is an indie game and some bugs here and there are expected. Although the gameplay is not quite as endless as the store page claims, I do recommend it.
