WOAHG!

Blink detection worked even better than I expected, and I'm working with a random second-hand Logitech webcam in a relatively dim room. The monster is creepy looking and made me frown and wiggle my earlobes, and I have genuine curious questions about the story. Literally took me 25 minutes to beat and it's not too difficult so it's definitely worth having a play.

This game is a total delight, seriously. Such a simple and fun concept with a really lighthearted feel was taken and turned into a really memorable journey. It probably has some of the best dialogue I've seen in recent memory in any game too - all the writing is seriously fun and surprisingly real feeling.

It's just really good okay? Just play it if you like fun.

Pretty damn good.

The story is immediately really intriguing and sinister, with a concept that's both bizarre, chilling, and can have one asking a lot of spooky questions. Thematically I think the storyline throughout the whole game explains and explores all that it needs to about the world and its motifs are strong enough to be worth discussing. The pixel art is pretty nice and everything is quite readable too, and the sound design and soundtrack is pretty excellent in my opinion.

As for gameplay itself, it doesn't suffer from the aimlessness that some point-and-clicks have by keeping the interface and interactions simple, and letting you highlight usable objects and doors at any time. The game is set in a pretty small area too, so it's easy to remember where everything is and searching every room for something you've missed doesn't take long. The puzzles I feel were really good. Each one is a unique puzzle, many of which some players will have seen in another form in one place or another. I enjoyed all of them, and felt the difficulty was at just the right level. For some of these I had to think quite hard, but never became frustrated.

So yeah, if you're into puzzles and interesting stories, give this a go if you think the price is worth two to three hours of gameplay. I sure do, in this case.

A really high quality Half-Life 2 experience that should take most players about half an hour to complete. Year Long Alarm mostly consists of well executed light puzzles to progress very reminiscent of the original game, interspersed with short but frequent combat sections.

The environments themselves are really excellent, with a great amount of detail and visual clarity including some very good lighting and a pleasant use of colour.

During each combat encounter the enemy types and placement increase steadily in difficulty, while the player is always offered several interesting options for cover, verticality, and environmental or gravity gun kills.

Throughout the entire experience there are new puzzles, combat situations, and areas to look around introduced at a very nice pace that makes the whole playthrough constantly entertaining.

It's just a really damn nice Half-Life 2 bit. Go play it.

Well as far as I know this Season Pass as reached its final addition, so in my opinion we have only just now reached the point where it's fair to review it.

I'll keep this brief.

* I got Tekken Bowl which I wanted for a giggle (a lot of people don't like it but it's fairly nifty) and Geese for a discounted price. Nice.
* I got to download Noctis basically for free as soon as he came out today.
* The metallic costume pieces are incredible simple, but are a nice addition to the customization screen and is basically free in this pass.

Overall, I don't see what's not to like here. It seems most of Tekken 7's DLC has been received well, so I don't see the problem in buying this to get all of it at a discount.
