Early Access Review
Game seemed like it could be extremely fun. Things were going well until I ordered an item and that ice cream song started playing. I wasn't comfortable paying money for that. Requested a refund. I do not recommend as is. If they change that delivery song out, then sure. IYKYK

This game moved me in such a way the I had to speak on it.

This game should be free regarding how disrespectful it is to a 1080P, properly fit to screen version of this game. Whomever was in charge of the PC port is fit to be flogged. To speak on any good parts of the source game would only nail home how this version is the worst first impression to a great title.

I initially played this on the PS5 at near, arcade perfect gameplay at a crisp 1080. Caladrius Blaze is a perfect game for its Genre over there on PSN, so when I saw it on sale for PC it was an easy purchase for at the time $3.99 or so, rather than the normal price of $20.00 American. I purchased it, and now realize it may have the fastest refund record in my library. There is a second.

The fact that they attempt to charge twenty bucks for CB on here is wild. If you are a fan, here's to there being some still jpgs or something that comes with some dlc. I may have taken more time to write this post than the dev took to quality check this port.

Now if it was a proper version, it would be a $15 title easy for me. I'd go the full $20, with an artbook and promise to build on the IP.

Until they fix the resolution avoid this. Play the better version where you can get it. Respect your time.

Thanks Steam Help for the swift turn around.

I have only played 48 minutes of this game so far and I can already tell this is going to be a rich ride. The game mechanics are really fresh; requiring the player to manage both brothers with the analog sticks is a really neat idea. I can not recall the last game I played that had the player do this. The graphics are serviceable and the sound is of a high quality. The general mood at the beginnig of the game is mixed with some drama and light-hearted exploration. There is an undertone of gloom that has me worried that there may be some heart-tugging moments later down the line.

I would like to go into a little detail about the brothers themselves. When you start the game they are fairly blank pages using "Sim-speak" to convey some of the plot. As the game progresses, there are little nuances that really bring their personalities to the light sans actual dialogue. From the older brothers stoic demeanor, to the little brothers practical jokes, you get a sense that the two have a great deal of depth; more depth than I have seen in full blown AAA titles. I nearly died laughing along with the younger brother after he slapped a bent over villager in the butt. I am looking forward to seeing how they interact with the rest of their world.
