I'm going to open up with this; Do not go into Wrong Number expecting more of the original game. Players who were head over heels with Hotline Miami 1 will find themselves having an awkward affair with the sequel. The game sheds a large portion of the beserker rushes in favour of a more tactical, slow approach. Wrong Number has a much greater focus on guns than the first, and you will encounter multiple levels with very little cover, plenty of open space, and a lot of goons with assault rifles and shotguns. The level design deteriorates later in the game focusing on ranged combat and, in my opinion, far too many windows. Let go of the blind instinct-based rushes in the first game. A brain with those strategies hardwired in will suffer in this one, but I still recommend the game, with all its gory violence and glorious songs. Remember, though, to be wary of windows.

I speak to you now, not as one who enjoyed this game, but as one who despised it. This game is, I would go so far as to say, a cancer upon this earth. The physics... dear god, the physics. One could say that the physics are terrible. But I would go so far as to say that there are no physics. The game functions in a manner that you arrange pieces, push play, and let the events unfold. However, even if you change nothing, the EXACT SAME SIMULATION may produce DIFFERENT RESULTS. I say this to you now, all you children of PC gaming, I warn you and urge you away from this game.
