Its pretty dead, but its nice coming back time from time. This game sort of a living time capsule of the WoW-Inspired MMO frenzy of 15ish years ago. What makes RIFT stand out from WoW is the unabashedly weird, mature, and sometimes even gross art style. It also has a fairly unique talent system.

To put it in WoW terms, imagine every class had 9 specs, and you could have any 3 active at one time, and choose skills from each talent tree as you please, leading to interesting combinations.

A really fun and compelling story. Just like Acting Lessons, this game is far more than just porn.

Update: Pledged to the Patreon to play up to episode 7. This game is a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ masterpiece. I have never been this enthralled by a game's story. You will laugh and you will cry.

Well over 1,000 hours deep at this point. This game covers all the bases. Engaging FPS combat, MMO-style looting and fashion, and well-thought-out, extensive lore. I really don't think any franchise will fill the niche it seeks to fill as well as Destiny.

Easily the best game for when you need to relax. Great way to calm your nerves after a long study session or stressful events. I personally love playing this after near-win PUBG matches, or griefer-filled CSGO matches.

Early Access Review
While it currently lacks in many faculties, not the least of which being gemplay, this game finds a way to tap into the primal satisfaction of wanting to be the best. The way your heart beats out of your chest as the player count ticks down is something I've never really felt in a video game, and the innate burst of basal satisfaction felt upon a victory is something I quite enjoy feeling, but I imagine one could become numb once they get good enough that a "Chicken Dinner" becomes expected, rather than treasured.

Its a decent game, don't get me wrong, but isn't worth anywhere near as much as sixty dollars + fourty-five for DLC, what a joke! Too much BS survival game gimmickry to be worth as much as that.

Now that XL is confirmed for PC i can definitely recommend this game. MKX is the most graphically fidelic and cinematically immersive fighting game I have played. The characters are varied and unique. Every character is given 3 unique variations to make gameplay exciting. Even the classic Scorpion has new moves thanks to his Hellfire, Demonic, and Ninjutsu variations. MKX is a great purchase for fighting game and MK fans alike, and considering Injustice 2 isn't coming to PC, it's probably your last chance at a premium MK experience on PC.

LEVELING - This is game was fun for the first hour or so, but once you get to about 20 the leveling gets a bit confusing and boring. You can queue for a dungeon at 20, but it's not very fun, the bosses are just bullet sponges.

CLASSES - I have played Slayer and Warrior, both are pretty similar, and I imagine Lancer and the other melee class aren't much different.

GAMEPLAY - The game claims it has "True Action Combat". That may be what they call it, but it's nothing special really, All spells are AoE, and you have a dodge-roll. That's the only difference between
this and other MMOs.

To sum it up, TERA was fun in the very short term, but it's just painful to play any longer. The
classes weren't very unique and the combat isn't anything to write home about.
