So far so good, I run fine but I can definitely see where the performance issues are coming from. This game makes my PC HOT (Same as it did in the demo so I expected it) and my machine can run almost anything I've run across with only minor heat buildup. Granted, one of my external fans is out but that hasn't made much of an impact elsewhere.

Performance aside, since that will hopefully be remedied, this plays just like Mechanicus 1 and in Mechanicus 1 you needed to read your abilities. Just like on the table the Mechanicus thrive when you combo buffs like crazy, stack buff on buff on buff. The departure is bringing your leaders instead of customizable priests but they seem durable enough. Just don't run them down the center like a psycho. Soundtrack's so far good, the usual you would expect from a Mechanicus themed game. Pipe organs, chanting, synth backing, but nothing so far stands out like Noosphere, Dance of the Cryptek, or Children of the Omnissiah. I'm still pretty early in, but I liked Mechanicus 1, and I so far like Mechanicus 2.

Now fix performance so more people can actually play the game.

It's amazing to me that ground 0 for Illfonic's habit of abandoning games before they even have a chance at success is unironically one of their BETTER entries. If you have any faith whatsoever in the Halloween game, take a look at this waste of potential and save your money. This game's abandoned, every other game Illfonic has spit out has been abandoned, Halloween will be abandoned.

We waited for so many years, we struggled and adjusted to the new mobility tools, we overcame. Silksanity can finally be laid to rest, this game is absolutely incredible.

Wow... What a MASSIVE improvement from Seekers of the Storm. This is genuinely some high quality DLC. I'm half excited and half curious to see how they screw it up

Get a group of friends together, end up as the defense. The judge and Bailiff beat the ♥♥♥♥ out of the Prosecutor for 15 minutes and I get in good with the judge. I lose the case anyways and get turned into a duck for my troubles, 10/10 would split my sides watching a Canadian get assaulted in a court of law again.

Ugh, how many hours did I waste trying to play the game only to have 4 twitchy XBox kids hopped up on bang energy spawncamp me while shrieking on the mic? Couldn't just kill me and be done with it. The fact his happened isn't strange, the fact it repeatedly and regularly happens IS. Poorly balanced mess of a game which at the end of the day boils down to "Go to X, spam M1 and M2 at Y, Pick up Z, leave". Abandon more content rare, that'll help.

Uncap your FPS and tweak some settings (And check the Config file for a single typo in the word "Resolution". Random I know but it helps). This game's gorgeous, and extremely fun, not as hard as World so far but not as easy as Rise, it's its own thing. The only complaint is Capcom's insistence on sticking to the ludicrous new idea that 70 bucks is fair for new releases. If you can't stomach the price, fair enough, give it time and wait for a sale.

I love this game, but they're asking me to almost double my playtime to get a handful of capes. I'm not against having hard to get cosmetics, I've done every mission on Absolute, and I don't have any aversion to absolute difficulty. 100 missions on absolute on 1 class for a cape that doesn't clash with my entire color scheme is a ludicrous ask, and what tips this over the edge from unreasonable to insulting is that this is one of the most requested features as of late. Locking it behind a grind that only the unemployed sweaty no lifers who do nothing but play SM2 all day could do in a reasonable time is downright insulting. I wouldn't even mind it being 50 absolute missions, but the best recommendation I've seen was to make it based on Terminus kills.

Short. Sweet. Tense. All the terror of "It Follows" mixed with the cursed PS1 aesthetic makes this a wonderful little game at a fair price. Pick it up for a fun hour or so of horror to stream to your friends.

Rockstar's solution to a multi-year problem with script kiddies going around pissing people off for cheap kicks is to implement a spyware that they'll find a workaround for in a month at the absolute most... Genius, you know what. Keep your spyware away from me. I'm not sticking around to see the cheaters return and STILL have a spyware on my PC.
