It all really depends on what you want. Just a character drawing, like the one I have above of my guy, is 3 keys (I drop the price for no shading, though I don't prefer the look of it). If you want a full poster, like with the TF2 characters above, it's anywhere from 4-5 keys (depending on how complex the character is) and comes with a free avatar pic if you want.
