Anytime anyone asks what my favorite game is I say "Lunar 2". Never thought I'd see it remastered but so happy that it was!! I've only played about an hour of this so far (it just launched an hour ago) but it's perfect on the steam deck and I'm loving the upgraded textures and cut-scenes!! A must have for any JRPG fan, the thing Lunar 2 does best is it's characters, in 25 years I haven't cared about any cast of characters as much as I have for the ones you'll travel with here. Music is as beautiful as I remember it. 10/10 obviously.

Got this game because I really enjoyed the music and heard lots of good things about.After actually playing it the game is very over hyped and boring. I kept forcing myself through it expecting it to get good eventually, then the credits started rolling. Apparently the game has multiple endings and you're expected to play through the whole thing again to see a different one? no thanks. Setting is somewhat interesting(world is very empty).Story is Boring.Characters are Boring.Gameplay/Combat is repetitive/boring.Music is sick though.

What attracted me to the game was it's art/graphics I found the 2d sprites with 3d world aesthetic to be really cool.Outside of that I wouldn't recommend this game, I played several hours and could not get hooked and ended up dropping it. From what I played I found the characters to be pretty boring/uninteresting. Story is pretty boring/uninteresting. Did not find the combat/gameplay to be very fun. It has a multiple protagonist gimmic but it takes away from the overall game. I'm a big fan of really good RPG's, this is not one of them.

Story was cool/interesting enough to have me hooked the whole time, not great, but good.Characters are pretty interesting although they could've done more relationship building/ had more interactions between characters. The character art/portraits felt a little weird/ugly to me but I got used to it.The best thing about this game is the combat/gameplay/progression, I spent hours customizing my teams and leveling/customizing my units and the game does an amazing job of making it really fun and enjoyable. Combat itself is really fun as well.Comparable to the fire emblem games. Enjoyed the gameplay on this more personally.

Ton of content/replayability. Companions are great their interactions with each other are neat.

The way the game changes depending on the mythic path you choose is very unique/cool mechanic I've never really seen any other game do.

Combat is really fun and it's as difficult as you want it to be (adjust difficulty settings)

World is really interesting and lots of places to explore, feels like they put a lot of effort into it.

Stories ok, loads of side quests.

Was extremely buggy at launch and personally suffered a game breaking bug that didn't allow me to progress through the game (however since coming back to my old save and playing on a new character I haven't ran into any major bugs)

Worth buying if you like tactical RPG's

Didn't play any of the previous LOH games but never felt like I needed to in order to enjoy/understand this game.

Great characters and a story that really sucks you in.

Really liked the universe this game took place in, feels very Anime-ish.

As someone who was beginning to find most video games pretty stale this game reminded me how fun and invested into a game I could become

Would highly recommend this to anyone who's a fan of JRPGs.
