Don't get me wrong, it's a good game, addicting, immersive, with great soundtrack but... there's always this "but" that ruins everything.
DLCs themselves are not that bad. The problem is the amount of them. They literally lock half of the game from you. Robots, hive minds, origins, everything.
Updates are also getting worse in quality. Each introduces more and more bugs, most of which are completely gamebreaking. No matter how good your pc is, you will most likely lag like crazy in the end game due to bad coding and too much spam of everything by AI, as well as all the thousands of pops calculating their tasks.
At this point Paradox are just milking Stellaris rather than creating a new game "part 2" to fix the issues. There is a time to stop and that time already passed.

Sadly this game's only achievement is cute dino visuals. Everything else is lacking in all aspects.

- Characters are bland and sterile. Even an AI would write better text than that. It's as if they were straight up copied from child movies. Hell, to think of it, first city is literally My Little Pony characters.
- Quests are literally "get to this place and grab this" or "bring me X amount of this". Nothing else.
- Dinos have similar skins. If you want something unique you are in trouble - stripes, blank, white stomach. There's barely any difference in them.
- For some its not a problem but for some it is. There's a lot of LGBT stuff in the game up to the point of a non-binary kid and pride skins for some dinosaurs. It would be better to have at least a tag on the main page as a warning.
- Locations are soft-locked with invisible walls so, while looking vast and free, you'll end up running in maze when you try to get off that 10 cm hill.
- No jumps. Nor you nor your dinos can jump. For main character they get the weird "Yahoo" animation instead. (???)
- Lack of actual tutorial. What is the harvester? What do small dinos do? Whats the point of leveling your dino? In many, many cases you would be forced to look online for different information regarding "what the hell is this".
- Bugs. There are many, many, many bugs from visual (on ultra settings half of the dinos have white lines on their skin at the spots of texture connections) to game breaking where even the main quest line can't be progressed further.
- Lack of actual gameplay. All you can do is tame/take care of dinos, farm crops and do a bunch of "get this" quests. No fishing, can't go inside your own house, can't interact with your dinosaurs any other way than "pet/sing/ride", no breeding, no baby dinos, forced "pack/herd/loner" dino types so you can't have an actual "wild-like" pen with a herd or a big pack (because a pack is only 2-3 dinos max).
- Weird, weird, WEIRD construction mechanics where enclosures don't get recognized if they share the wall so you have to rebuild the gates, gates not seeing the right enclosure and instead making your farm an enclosure (???) and much more.

Overall for a such huge price I completely don't recommend this product. It would be fine if it was an Early Access but even then I don't think it would get a high enough quality to be worthy that price. Yes, developing prices are rising but this game's style and amount of mechanics is way too low for a such increase.

TLDR: As of right now I cannot recommend this game to anybody. This is nothing but an extremely grindy demo of horse breeding. At max get it on sale, or, even better, wait at least several months for it to get to a better state. In it's current stage it doesn't worth the money it asks for.

Cons:
- Terrible animations. Everything is super stiff, NPCs move as if something posessed them. When it comes to horses things are as bad. Feels like the developer never saw real life horses. Those are not horses. Those are walking tables!
- Big empty maps. Green fields, Ctrl+C - Ctrl+V trees, fences and rare houses. Thats all you gonna see. No interesting points, no hidden secrets, not even something to look at! There's literally no reason to explore any of the maps that are available. It would be better having small maps that are filled with something (and maybe later expand them) rather than gigantic fields on nothingness.
- Garbage story. Or more like, no story at all. You come there all special, obviously "the chosen one" to become the best horse rider. Everybody supports you, there's no conflict, no actual progression. You just go from "Easy" to "Expert" and thats all. NPCs are as dull in their characters as in their movement. Everybody is cute, kind and gives you tons of stuff. Everybody with the exact same character. No backstories, no plots, no emotions. To be fair, if you replace all the NPCs in this game with notes or boards it would make no difference.
- Bugs. Bugs everywhere. This is a pre-alpha level of bugs. Getting stuck, horses teleporting, disappearing, your character falling under the ground, bugged to the point you have to close the game through task manager. There's an insane amount of all sorts of bugs and glitches. And don't get me started on optimisation! It will use all of your CPU no matter how good is your PC or laptop.
- Visuals. Obviously, typical casual game style but in this case human NPCs look... horrific. You could make a horror game with them. Even worse - they use the same character editor as the player so you end up with copies of yourself mindlessly roaming around the city. Character editor itself is super limited to the point I am not even sure why is it there.
- Only 1 developer (also an artist and a composer but they dont play that essential role). Yes, thats a giant negative because it means updates will be slower and much worse than if there were at least 3 people working on it. It's ont thing to solo develop a pixel game and another a pretty big 3d game with plenty of mechanics. There's no way to make it good while being alone.
- Grind. Oh boy, there's so much grind there. To train your horse, to get money. You only have one main way - ride same things, same paths, same competitions. Again, again and again. It may be okay at first but you have to do it with every horse you own if you want good stats and money. There's nothing else besides riding same places or farming which is as buggy and clunky as the rest of the game.

The only good side so far is horse breeding. But even there things are pretty limited. A really weird choice of "Base coat - pattern" so you can't combine roans with dunes. Pretty limited base colors as well (no greys, dapples, seals). Breeding overall is very buggy as well - you can end up with your horses not breeding the chosen partner, foals getting stuck with the wrong parent, yearlings not being able to assign so they end up standing like statues with no way to ride them and so on.

A really nice and chill game that gets constant and stable updates as well as a dev that actually reads the forum. Highly suggested for everybody who likes fish and aquariums. However, beware that this is a CHILL game so there's nothing other than setting up your aquarium and watching fish live their life.

This used to be a really fun and exciting game. Yes, there were some problems here and there but it was still playable and enjoyable especially with friends. However, as of right now, I can't recommend this game at all.

+Graphics are okayish (sadly can't say the same about animations)
+Many cool mechanics from comfort to giant floods that fill entire map, fires and such. None of existing dino games has so much stuff in it
+Good variety of playable dinos
+Map Editor that allows server owners to edit the maps (tho sadly that makes them even laggier)

And those are all the pluses. Now for the cons:
-Extremely, extremely badly optimized. It was bad since the beginning but after the last big patch with a new map it's TERRIBLE. Now, don't get me wrong - I have a pretty good PC that can easily handle RDR2 on max settings with 60 fps. Beasts of Bermuda, however, takes literally all of my Memory and almost all of CPU even on the lowest settings! Especially this new map. I can't even imagine how could they "achieve" this.
- Bugs everywhere. Trees growing in the air, dinos falling through the ground, getting stuck in animations and a lot (I mean really A LOT) UE crashes.
-Devs literally spit on their community. Of course, blindly following your community is never good but god these devs ignore everything. Balance problems? They don't care until somebody from the staff team gets murdered several times by something broken. Furthermore, they don't even fully remember their game, literally FORGETTING about MAIN mechanics that are already in the game like they did with elasmo grabbing. Devs, sadly, think they know the best and, in the end, they are actually losing player base (on all charts you can see how much did active player amount decreased after last major update compared to what it was before. I get it, they are *indie* company and can't know everything about game design and such but, god, there are some things you have to learn instead of saying "it's my game and I decide how do you play it".
- Overall community. Well, it's more of a game-type problem rather. Overall gameplay promotes agressive and toxic behavior. If you want lots of drama, insults and betrayals, this game is for you.

Well, what can I say. I have a lot of hours in this game and I am really sad to see what happened to it. I really wish devs actually studied and asked around on "how to gamedesign" and code rather than go all in thinking they know better than anybody. It takes time but it's better than killing your product with the lack of knowledge and/or skill.

I was never a fan of tactical RPGs with the camera watching everything from far far away but this game changed everything.

All that freedom you get when you create your own character is insane! Games where you can actually combine different classes are extremely rare. A necromancer with a sword? An archer that can shoot fireballs? Sign me in!

And the ability to do wombo combo with spells is also nuts. Throw oil under the enemy, then throw a fireball so everything around burns. Then summon a rain that causes fire to stop and leave smoke around. Shoot a lightning into the clouds to create electrical clouds! That sounds super complicated but it's just one of the many ways to deal with the enemies.

Storyline is pretty nice too. You get to choose what, when and how do you want to do different things up to literally going nuts and killing everybody. Boy, I am glad I finally get to play as somebody not-so-nice. It fits perfectly with dynamic dialoges that change depending on who you actually are. Race, classes, your origin, your stats - it all actually matters and can completely change the way things go. The dialoges are written pretty nice, the voices are interesting and clear tho most of them lack actual character.

- As a negative thing I'd mention UI of journal which turns into a real mess even on a first island.
- It's also hard to get into the game for some players. Lack of clear main plot and quest can be confusing. You get much more freedom than in most RPGs, and side quests sit literally under every bush so the main storyline gets buried in them. You kinda get that "Swarm is bad and is coming" but with so much stuff going around, you can literally forget about it.
- Last but not least is a lvl system. You see some guys standing in the room and go there thinking you are going to fight them but that fight turns into a butchery because those guys are muuuuch stronger.

Despite the cons this game is amazing in lots of things and worths buying even without a sale. Just to complete the story once you need to spend lots of hours and the choices, the freedom and character creation lets you replay it differently many more times.

Definately became one of my most fav games.

It, of course, has some negative sides like a basic storyline about yet-another-superman who destroys enemy forces within seconds (and the starting plot actually sucks with "you killed this but it's actually not you and out of all technology and people around nobody saw that despite being literally there") and lack of continued updates despite having an actual pvp mode but there are many more positives than negatives.

First of all, soundtrack. I've never had a soundtrack catch me so hard that it literally makes me want to replay storyline whenever I hear it (Boy, the Daredevil one is insane). Active, epic, dynamic.
Secondly, really nice gameplay. Jets are easy to control and some are hard to master with all the tricks you can do. Want to fly into the tunnel? Do a barrel roll? All yours! While you don't need to turn into an acrobat to pass the game (even on the hardest difficulty) it still feels satisfying to suddenly turn 360 and destroy the one who dared to chase you. You also get to do different stuff during your playthrough like complete specific things to spawn special secret enemies that are presented on all lvls and give you a special skin/badge once you kill them.
And third... While this game focuses more on "shoot shoot shoot" rather than any story, it managed to capture different characters really well with all the voice overs during the fights. You have sneaky Count with his pride and selfishness that turns into loyalty and bravery over time. Queen that starts off as some random girl and ends up being the beacon of peace. And, the main one, "SOLITARY!!!111".
You don't get to see or hear your own character but I think that silence of him actually makes it feel more... professional? "No time to talk - I came here to beat some butts." That does come with restrictions tho. As I mentioned in the beginning, the starting plot feels really bad and hollywood-like. At least Gordon Freeman has an excuse of being an old game.

Overall a really nice thing but could be better. Worths buying even without a sale.

Hype, hype, lots of hype and positive reviews....
If I could I'd give this a neutral review. First of all, I already have 10 hours in this game and almost reached the last island, got all possible dinos except for mission ones and... basically saw everything this game has. So lets start with a good side.

Good things:

Graphics!
Graphics are really hot here. Scales, eyes, fence in which you drive every time because you can't stop in time - everything that gets in front of you feels polished and real.
Sounds, voice acting.
Tho listening to our depressed guy can get a little creepy with all his "you made this step" and such.
Management
I like that it focuses a lot on management, where you have to satisfy both dinos and people who come there to watch your big beasts.
Dino variety
Both famous and not dinos. That's something that makes me happy

And thats basically all. Moving to bad things.

BAD AI.
And by bad I mean that its EXTREMELY terrible. Just a quick scroll through all it's problems:
No herding or packing
Waiting in line for a fight
Always the death circle which gets pretty boring after a few hours because mostly all they do is "smash once then roar"
Herbies and others standing in front of carnis like nothing happens. (and then getting killed ofc). Same applies to carnis who can't even decide which prey to take.
A VERY limited list of actions dinos do. Eat, drink, roam around a bit (also graze for herbs and hunt for carnis), panic and "socialize" by standing in front of a friend and doing a few calls. No sleeping or interructing with other species. Or even your own species except for calling.

Animations
Don't get me wrong, animations are good but... almost all dino types have same animations. Like cerato having rex's animation and etc. That thing really destroys the atmosphere and your dinos stop being unique. They actually become something same with just different skin on them. Animations are also extremely glitchy and there will be moments when you'll see your rex biting the air while somewhere near him his opponent's body will be doing cool flips around. Another thing is that dinos are basically getting "stuck" in their animations so literally nothing can stop them. What's also bad is their "sims" actions like suddenly standing still, thinking (or more like that slow AI is trying to decide which of the action to make), then moving and standing still again. And roar ofc. Roaring is everywhere.
Lack of content.
Yes, you read it right. You do same things on each of the island: get there, put research things, research dinos, comeplete literally same useless missions and move to another island. There's no cutomization on the island too. ALL of your parks will looks same. The difference will be set only by the territory that you have. Now let me get it straight: I know that its more a management sim rather than the zoo sim but hell, even in deep management it's bad. It's super easy to get millions and every time you literally have to do same actions. No difference. Island are different, but not management. All same. Nothing unique. Nothing interesting. And gets repetitive.

Basically happened the same thing as with the film. It looks awesome but empty. No depth at all. And dinos are actually just decorations with some needs. I really hope that something will be changed about it like giving dinos more interactions but right now its 5/10 and maybe +1 point for being a good Jurassic park.

A really great game with an awesome concept. Unlike other god simulators this game is focusing on providing you a unique experience of watching actually free people. Instead of a full control you get to say 3 words to guide your people towards the future and they have a freedom to understand those words as they want.

Nothing goes as planned
You say:
"People, who live in desert, move to the coast".
What do they hear:
"People, who live in desert, eat those who live at the coast".
Wo-ops, oh well...

You still have an opportunity to tell them that they are wrong. But I wish there was a possibility to actually punish your cities. I mean, cmon, just smash that city that bothers you! So others may fear your strenght!
The game is great and unique in it's genre but I wish it had a bit more possibilies and actual content.

Not a game but a deep story which is full of sorrow, regrets, fears... decisions.

In short, The first tree has nice graphics, interesting storyline, little details that complete the atmosphere. Great voice actors, music and sounds in total. Perfect for chilling and playing for heart. Feels same as reading a book.
Bad sides are not really good controls (sometimes the fox gets stuck in mountains while jumping) and the lack of information. There are moments when it's pretty hard to understand what to do and the game gives you no clues.

8/10, recommended

For those who came here for more information I can say this:
This story is very deep. Some may not like it, for some "other's sorrow is boring and pointless" but... The First Tree may teach us something important, open our eyes and help us to find out what is really happening. Our past life can be terrible... make us cry and want to leave this world but... It's a past. We can't change it. But we can change the present. We can make our own future. And there will always be somebody on the path who will follow us, whose voice will fill us with strenght. For who we will be ready to move further. And here, in this story, we can see this.

I had 110 letters
But I wrote only this:
"You will always be alive in my heart"
