Similar to Dragons Dogma, but way more flushed out, complex and in depth. Has the potential to be extremely shallow if you want it to be, or extremely in depth. You can easily win most fights by just doing light attacks, but the combat really shines when you're putting together moves across different fighting styles. You feel very fluid and it flows well. Even when fighting 25+ enemies.

Still cant access the DLC.

By far one of the worst games I've ever played. Combat is trash. It is unresponsive, and you will do nothing and be nothing unless you spend several hours of your life in a practice arena grinding a stat. Even then it is only for one weapon type. And even more so you still won't be able to do anything but hope to get a lucky hit in every 12 swings. If you come across a group fight your best bet is to reload a save and avoid it to save you the time and headache. Between the disgraceful fighting all you do is walk from pointless quest to pointless quest being someones errand boy for forgettable reasons because there is no substance. Skip this dumpster fire and get the 2nd one instead it is 1000x more polished.

Stay with the demo

It's not a terrible game, but its trailers and ads are deceptive. It is less combat focused and more city building/army builder. Which if you like that it is unique in a mostly good way. But if you are interested in the combat don't get your hopes up it is not like bannerlords.

At the end of the day this games core player base will always be some of the most interesting the internet has to offer

Fun game when the devs aren't actively destroying it. Seems like their development cycle is slowly ruin the game. release a massive patch to fix the terrible changes they've done over the past several months. Then slowly revert the changes they did over the next couple months till they have to do another massive patch. Then the devs will do a sit down interview to talk about the patch and recreate the BP oil skit on Southpark.

Every time there is a large scale major order there is always something broke with it. Bugs had inhuman reaction time, Bots had broken spawn rates and phase/shoot through walls & buildings, and illuminate are invisible and phase through walls.

There is also a massive money sink for this game. Getting every war bond would easily cost you over $500. And realistically you'd probably only use 1 or two items from each except for maybe two warbonds. On the bright side they seem to have found a new trend of putting the best gun of the warbond into the superstore rather than then in the warbonds itself. Funny how their reasoning behind lowering the amount of weapons we got per warbond was because it took to long to develop them. But they have no problem making one to put into the store.

As someone who has been here since the beginning with several hundred hours in this game and was able to amass the warbonds overtime, and know to not trust the lying devs/patch notes (they do not release full patch notes & will shadow nerf/buff things) I'll keep coming back. I however cannot and will not recommend it for anyone to get into, atleast not till the devs have a much more consistent track record.

Absolutely terrible. Little to no redeeming qualities. I would argue it isnt even worth the buy on sale
