I’ve been playing since pre-launch, and overall I genuinely enjoy the game and most of what it offers. The core gameplay is fun, and there’s a lot to like.

My main issue is how aggressively monetized everything feels. If you’re paying a premium price for a mech pattern, it should be usable across all mechs—not locked to just one. Finding a design you really like loses its appeal fast when you realize it’s limited to a single mech. That kind of restriction feels unnecessary and overly profit-driven.

It’s also hard to ignore that the game lost a large portion of its player base within the first month, largely due to these monetization choices—and unfortunately, nothing meaningful has been done to address it.

I still recommend the game because it is fun at its core, but I’m leaving a negative review due to how expensive and restrictive the overall system is.

I'd say its about a 3 or 4 star game.. one of my biggest frustrations is about the amount of banned words this game has with no way to turn the filter on or off in options.. you cant even type the word AFK, GG, or a plethora of others.. am i allowed to say plethora or is that banned as well? I have never seen such a strict chat profanity filter in my life.. and apparently they have been made aware of how ridiculous it is since beta and have done nothing to improve/change this. hard to play a game with rando's (can we say rando's) if you cant communicate with them because of the massive amount of banned words.. I'll change my review to a "yes" recommend if they ever fix this

Que times of 15+ minutes just to end up loading into a match and lose in less than 5. currently not worth the wait time to play this. you would be better off with Dead BY Daylight (which this game is a VERY obvious clone of).. at least the matches tend to be longer for what you wait for.

The time it takes to acquire a weapon vs how quickly the monster can knock you down and make you lose it is ridiculous.

Goodluck surviving against the werewolf. he hows and prevents you from being able to attack as an ability, when he hits you cant attack... my last match he howed 4 times.... FOUR TIMES!!! back to back to back to back preventing me and another from being able to do anything to him because of the range the howl has on it vs your attack range... OP much? and then after he howls you cant escape because being a monster hes obviously faster than you so then you get hit and once again cant attack... so your locked up for a good minute without being able to do anything..

Also good luck reviving teammates. majority of the monsters are campers. the puppet guy will leave a puppet near bodies to camp them, the werewolf's I played against would feast and then stay near enough to the downed player that they would go straight back to you the moment you got them up.

There are no good mechanics in this game to help you get away from the monster unless you already have a weapon in hand to kill it or stun it... because majority of maps are inside, there are no good places to hide.. at least in DBD I have plenty of environment to hide behind.

overall I cant recommend this game. Time que'ed vs Time played vs Time sat watching other players while I'm dead is just not worth it..

why doesnt this game utilize steam cloud save? I play this at home and at work when not busy since i work at a gaming lounge.. and unless i feel like copying my files every single time its like im playing two seperate accounts... double the work to gain everything with one profile...
