When i first bought Controller Companion, i liked it. i thought it was really helpful, but now i found out that steam already has this feature built-in. In Big Picture mode under controller settings, you can give a controller the ability to work as a mouse. knowing this, this is kind of a waste of $3

if you wanna play DayZ and you're broke, this is by far the best option. is it DayZ? no, but it's definitely a damn good substitute. yes there is the paid gold upgrade, but i dont think its nessicary. as for graphics... well, it's basically minecraft if you smoothed the colors out, but i dont see that as an issue. it looks good for what it is, ive seen *much* uglier games. overall, its worth giving a shot if you dont have DayZ. if you do, however, you can pass on it.

The Steam Controller is one of the most innovative controlers I've seen/used. The dual trackpads (or thumbpads, as I call them) are very responsive, and basically work like the mousepads on laptops, but on a much smaller scale. It may take time for you to get used to aiming with the right thumbpad, as you have less overall space to work with than what you have with a mouse. using the left thumbpad (the one with the D-Pad shape on it) is also kind of odd to use for movement, so I would just use the controller's joystick for movement instead, and save the thumbpad for things like, for instance, the ping and taunt menus in Portal 2. The customizability of this controller is outstanding, with things like changeable turn on/off sounds (two of which are based on VALVe games), the skins you can purchase for it, and the ability to use it on every single Steam game and even a few non-Steam games aswell. You can also set up the two triggers on the back to have two seperate functions; one coming from a softer push, and the other from a quick tap. This is very useful in games that have iron-sights or if you just need an extra binding. Along with the dual-action triggers, there are also buttons on the back grips of the controller, activated by pressing either side of the battery door. Along with these, there are also "outer ring bindings" which alow you to add a bind for when the joystick or your thumb hit a certain point away from the center, similar to the dual action triggers mentioned before. These, plus the three buttons on the thumbpads and joystick, along with the ability to set four bindings to each thumbpad and the joystick, add up to 29 possible bindings to this controller, possibly more. Another thing I love about this controller is how it feels. It is very comfortable to hold, and i cna line up my thumbs perfectly with the thumbpads. With all it can do, I gotta say, it looks great doing it. This controlleris very well designed aesthetically. The matte and glossy plastics look great together and makes for a pretty damn good loking controller. This controller also works on the desktop as well, making it easy to scroll through your social media feeds from your couch/bed/whatever. Now, this controller is not for everyone, and I get that. Some people are just way to used to a keyboard and mouse or don't like the way the thumbpads feel. One problem I do have though, is the keyboard. The keyboard is used by putting both thumbs on the pads and cliking on the letters on each respective side with the corresponding trigger. Now, I may just have to get used to using it, but I dont get why you dont have at least the option to get a keyboard like you see on consoles. So, if you want to type something, its best to just get a wireless keyboard. Overall, Would I recommend the Steam Controller? Well, if you feel like you can get used to the thumbpads (or thumbpad, since you'll probably end up using the right thumbpad more anyway), then go for it! its a very interesting controller that's very fun to use. If not, then give it a pass, as this is the first controller of it's kind, it's very odd to use at first. The layout is also very different than the usual X-Box layout as seen on most PC Controllers, having the two trackpads at the top, and the joystick and face buttons at the bottom. I see it as very akin to something like Nintendo's Wii U Pro Controller, as that has two sticks on the top, and the D-Pad and buttons on the bottom. However, for someone like me who has used this setup before, it wasn't a huge challenge. All-and-all, I would recommend this controller to anyone who feels like they would be able to adapt to the strange layout and the thumbpads. Also, if you do use this controller, play in Big Picture mode or on a Steam Link, as there you can customize the controller's bindings and such. This controller is a blast to play with, and is one of my favorite controllers that I've ever used period, and I can't wait to play more games with it.

Guncraft is a fairly decent game. its got a lot of creativity options, its got multiple game modes, OFFICIAL (and fanmade) Team Fortress 2 content, etc. but the one thing, the ONE THING, is that the servers are more often than not empty. its fun, but more people need to be actively playing it. im not saying you SHOULDN'T buy it, its a good game. but just wait until you have enough to get the 4 pack (or buy X number of individual copies) to play it. its a game thet mroe peple need to be active on. im lucky to find a server with 3 other people in it. the thing that would help best is bot matches, to compensate for people not playing it often. i would LOVE to see bot matches come in a future update.

My final rating: medic /10

its good dont get me wrong, but it needs somebody to pair up with. its got a lot of neat perks, but wont live up to its full potential with out another person.

(yes i kinda copied ProJared, so what?)

Trove is kinda like what would happen if minecraft and any generic MMORPG had a baby.
this game is really fun, and it plays beautifully. it looks nice it sounds nice and its an all-around great game. my only problem it the long ass loading times for wheni leave for a few min. it takes over 30 min. just to load. although it COULD be argued that i just have a slow comp. and ♥♥♥♥♥♥ internet....eh.
